Update: overstock contacted the company and they sent me what I needed. The bench is now perfect and the fix was simple. Still waiting for a response from Overstock on this bench. It arrived damaged. It’s not usable in its current condition. I’ll gladly update once it is resolved. This is the 1st damaged Highwood piece I’ve received that was not in good working order. It’s missing the metal receiver piece, so the bolt has nothing to grab. Update: overstock arranged for a replacement part. With the new part, the bench will, no doubt, be fantastic. I’m anticipating ordering another one soon!

Gorgeous and well made bench! Bought this for our porch and love the nice curved seat, the deep brown color and the overall high quality of it. I love the fact that it's not something I have to constantly treat to preserve the wood, because its made from a synthetic material (happy to be able to sit on in shorts and not worry about splinters either!). Don't let the fact that it's not real wood worry you though --its of very high quality, easy to care for and you wouldn't know it's not wood until you inspect it closely.
