Pop up drain problem

Love the design of this bathtub, however, the pop up drain stopped working after 18 months. Imagine my disappointment after spending this much money on the tub! Build.com quickly sent out a new drain but they would not pay for a plumber or send out one of their technicians. They said it would be so simple to screw the new pop up drain ourselves. We were able to screw the drain in but water quickly leaked out of the bottom. We called one plumber out who said they would screw it in for $900! Another company said it would cost $95 to come out and repair would be additional. We eventually found a plumber who was able to thread the drain back in for $225. Given that the tub was $2600 and is still under warranty, we should not have had to lay out a dime to have it fixed. I am really disappointed in build.com

Big solid tub.

This is a great tub. Just make sure to unpack it and look for any damage when it’s shipped. It’s quite heavy at close to 300 lbs.
