Simple & expensive

I’ve had mine for 5 years, and it’s so nice in the winter to wake you up before the sun rises. I love the twist to dim and the flip to turn on and off. It can be kind of buggy to connect, and then buggy to dim. My twist to dim feature doesn’t always work at this point. They haven’t updated the app since 2019. That was literally the last version update. I honestly thought they discontinued the product and was shocked to see they still sell it, and it’s still $129. It’s almost the cost of the Hatch, which has way more features. That being said, I love my Glow and am happy I have it. If I were to purchase one now, I might go for something else since it seems like Casper put the Glow on the back burner.

Only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning

The negative reviews are honestly so surprising/confusing to me. My husband and I have each had one of these lights on our nightstands for the past 4+ years and we have not experienced a single issue with the charging base or any of the other technical difficulties that others have mentioned. Maybe they're slamming the light back onto the base too forcefully? I am notoriously bad at waking up to get to work on time, especially in the winters when it stays so dark in the mornings. If it weren't for this light, my brain would still think it was the middle of the night. I often wake up because of this light rather than the backup alarm that I always set, just in case.
