During a recent visit to the home of a dear friend, I found I unusually looked forward to my evening shower. The reason … their Speakman shower head. It gave me the perfect blend of being simple (no over-playing of multiple streams, etc), elegant (clean design/solid quality), and offered a perfect flow and distribution of the water.

3-Spray 3.8 in. Single Wall Mount Handheld Adjustable Shower Head in Polished Chrome. This head is very light weight and pretty tough as my wife seems to drop it at least once during each shower, which is fully ceramic in finish, and it hasn't cracked or even scratched yet. Different intensities are nice but does not have a pulsating spray. No reason it should not last for a long time.

I was looking to upgrade a shower easily and with minimal expense while also giving new functionality that looks good. This did the job. It looks good, goes with the existing chrome hardware and functions as expected.

The different spray settings after install were actually useful to accomodate everybody's desires in the home while we take showers. Impresses with the build quality & finish. NO LEAKS! The hose is just long enough & has a good color to it & does not warp or get in our way. I am thinking of replacing the other shower heads with this same model.

I really am a big fan of Speakman products and this one is no exception. It's attractive in design but also functional, making the most of the reduced gpm while still providing a great (satisfying?) shower experience. Here's what I mean by that: some reduced-flow showerheads end up making you acutely aware of the reduced flow, with a reduced sense of pressure and a narrow water cone, and you feel like you aren't getting "wet" enough to lather up/rinse off. This showerhead has a wide enough cone and enough force behind the water streams that you never get that feeling.

[Rewarded Review] Spa quality shower head in Chromed, looks and feels great. Just like the spa at home.

Who ever said the morning shower is not needed, never had this shower head. This is a Speakman shower head with hose and bracket, the name speaks for itself, type the brand in search engine for samples. The things we really like about the Speakman brand has to be the quality, as these have some heft to them. The chrome has never peeled on our older Speakman shower heads, and this should be the case for this one, we hope. The next thing is the adjustable nozzles that create a great showering expeirence. I sometimes take two daily showers and after a long day of gardening or fishing this shower just relaxes my pains away.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent product

Shower head arrived in great condition. The fit and finish was excellent. Although the housing looks like a metal finish, it has a lot of plastic to it. Which is not all bad, since it won't rust. But you have to be careful not to drop it. Most water appliances have flow restrictors built in, as does this one. Speakman did some magic in the area. The water pressure is full and you wouldn't know there was a restrictor inside.

I have really enjoyed Speakman showerheads in the past and was excited to get the Speakman handheld 3 spray handheld adjustable showerhead with mount. The 60 inch hose gives you plenty of length to meet your needs. I even use it to bathe my dog in the bathtub and it makes bathing him a breeze and clean up so much easier. It has 5 different spray streams and I enjoy them all. My water pressure is good but could be better to take the streams to a better level but I highly recommend if looking for a new showerhead.

The Speakman hand held shower head has a patented 360 degrees spray for full body coverage. It is an excellent product from a company well known for shower heads. The head is light and comfortable to hold with a grip for soapy hands, and the hose is very flexible. The product comes with all necessary gaskets and even has some plastic tape to secure connections. The ends are labelled. The instructions include six easy steps for installation. All items were neatly packed and protected.

Now that I have this I have noticed Speakman shower heads in hotels. probably why I haven't seen the brand before. I swapped this out to get a little extra water flow in my shower.

Speak an has alway been a great shower head head. Even though it has water flow restrictions, you would never know from the pressure of the spray

[Rewarded Review] Great three spray shower head

As I took this out of the box I could feel the solid feel of metal. It is nice attention to detail for the manufacturer to include protectors on the two ends of the hose. The chrome finish is protected during shipping. It is also a nice touch to include the information that the chrome finish can be kept bright with a vinegar mixture. That will help with other fixtures as well. The thread tape is included. The supply end of the hose is clearly identified. I decided to use this hand held shower as the only shower head in my shower above the roman tub. The specification describes a plunger in the middle of each of the five nozzles. The plungers supposedly resist scale buildup. The plungers can be pushed in. Perhaps, when there is a reduction in the flow pushing each plunger will clean out the scale buildup. There are good instructions for installing the shower head, but no instructions for what to do with the plungers. They may prevent scale buildup without any intervention on the part of the user. The plungers move if they are pushed in. That does not seem to affect the flow. I like the three different spray settings. The full shower is what I use the most. The message setting is nice to massage muscles or clean deep in my hair. Between the two settings is a flow that has the maximum flow with low pressure. I use this to fill my cupped hand with water to fill an ear syringe for cleaning my ears. Having this all in one shower head is nice.

[Rewarded Review] A good shower thanks to a functional shower head

Speakman makes a quality shower head, in this kit you get the hand unit, the mount, a hose and some teflon tape to perform the installation. Overall it is a very nice shower head, and cleans well. no leaks, easy 2 minute install. No extra 'drips'. One thing I will mention is that the spray with the main head is 'wide'. As the spray comes from a number of streams, the wide girth meant there was gaps between where the water hit, which some may not like. The unit itself is made of plastic, you turn the head a bit to change spray patterns. The mount does have some metal in as it has a nice weight to it.

This shower head is lightweight. It is either plastic or an alloy. There are two settings, spray and stream. I thought the gray button on the handle would pause the water for shaving in the shower, but it is a decoration only. The square shaped handle did not directly attach to my build in water line fixture, so I had to use another. There wasn't enough room for the square shape to rotate. Overall, a good but basic shower head.

[Rewarded Review] Simple and works perfectly!

What's there not to like about Lifetime Warranty? The shower handle is built well and although some elements of plastic are present - the warranty is a safe bet. The only way to ruin plastic it appears is to crush this product (fall or hit).

Speakman is a favorite for us because it is well built and allows you to take out the water-saving feature so you can get a really good shower in a much shorter time! We would have given this a 5-star but, sadly, it has no pause switch and that does waste water. The grip is easy and the silicone on the grip makes it stay secure in your hand when wet. Very simple to move the dial to the abundant settings. The hose is metal and doesn't twist, lays very nice and not quite as long as many others so it doesn't bang the side of the shower stall. I would recommend Speakman to put an on/off switch and this would be a 5-star for sure.

I ordered this Speakman showerhead to replace one that no longer functioned properly. I got the polished chrome one but it is also available in brushed nickel and polished nickel.It was very easy to install and I am not a plumber. Installation took approximately an hour and a half. It has very strong water pressure and the hose is flexible and easy to maneuver. The price of this unit is affordable as well. I am unsure about durability as it is lightweight and I have only used it for a short time.

Very Happy

Awesome water pressure. The 2.5 GPM makes a total difference in the water pressure. Much better than the commonly sold other major brands. Can easily change the water streams. I would not hesitate to buy this product again. I have already recommended this company to many of my friends.
