NOT A FAN!!

I was excited about the On/Off Activation but in reality it is terrible. It often randomly turns off when in use. (I imagine from water splashing up and "touching" it off.) The pressure is also not good at all. Then the battery dies!

Faucet Fixation

I love my new faucet & hope it continues to perform longer than the 7 months our former Lowe’s products were lasting.

Leaking and terrible water pressure

We redid our kitchen and bought this faucet. It’s beautiful and perfect in every way except that in less than 2 months installed, it is already leaking from the faucet head and the water pressure is terrible. Really disappointed.

Best thing ever!

Love this! We had a touch in our previous home and finally installed one in our new home. This time we installed it with the AC adapter; no more batteries required!

4 Years Later....

You would think that a $400 faucet would work like a dream, but we've had issues with this one from day one. Four years later, we've had issues with two things: the faucet coming loose from underneath, and frequent battery depletion from touch sensor. There are a lot of plastic parts and things seem to break easily. It's not an easy faucet to work with and I wish we'd just gotten the more simplistic version. Plus the water pressure is pretty terrible. It looks great!

Faucet is fine I'm sure. Home Depot advertises as it in the pictures as being the newer model with shield spray, including pictures of the Cassidy with the required third button for this feature. However, this model does not have it. According to a rude customer service representative, Home Depot does not have any of the Cassidy Model 9197T with this feature, so do not think that you can return it to hopefully get the correct model. If you want any newer Delta model with that feature and want to purchase from Home Depot, make sure it is in multiple places in the product description. I will be purchasing somewhere that does not put false pictures to encourage purchases and treats you poorly when you call about fixing the matter. I'll be without a kitchen faucet for another few days at least and have to go through the trouble of returning this item. If they correct the advertising, you can disregard this review (assuming they let it post).

Great faucet

2nd faucet bought. Bought this faucet about a year ago. Now the temp light either shows nothing when on cold or its blinking red when on cold. Have already had to replace batteries. Faucet will stop working when batteries go out.

Love the touchless feature

We have purchased two of these, one in chrome and one in oil rubbed bronze. Definitely prefer the oil rubbed bronze but that is real just more our style.

Great Faucet

I like the sleek design and function of this faucet. It works well and looks great too. I also bought the matching soap dispenser. The handle placement is higher than others, which worked great because our soap dispenser was placed too close to the faucet. This specific feature saved us a lot of heartache!

Touch feature completely worth it!

I really hesitated to purchase this based upon the numerous complaints about the touch feature. However I went into a local plumbing store that had delta touch sinks installed to try out and instantly loved it. I decided it was worth the risk to give it a try. I am so glad that I took the risk! My contractor had no problems getting the touch feature to work properly and the faucet is sturdy and has a substantial presence. It works exactly as advertised and we have had no problems.

Wife loves this faucet

We installed our new Delta faucet as part of a kitchen remodel a month ago, and we couldn't be more happier with the purchase. Everything has been as advertised so far with no issues. The touch feature is so handy and my wife loves the spray handle. The professional plumber that installed the faucet warned us that similar Delta faucets clog with sediment due to a narrow valve and small filter screen, but only time will tell. For now, she's a beauty!!

Not so enthused!

The touch-matic faucet is a great concept, but it doesn't work for my particular situation. I use rubber gloves most of the time, and the faucet "touch" feature doesn't work with gloves. So I have to take my glove off to touch it to get it to work. Also, it will shut itself off sometimes without my touching it. My husband is constantly frustrated with it because he can't adjust to seeing when the faucet should be working with touch and when it doesn't (such as when I have manually turned it off). I love the pull down faucet--very convenient for rinsing out the sink. I don't like the thinner stream of water that comes out the spout--it has more force than my previous faucet, and the water tends to splash outside the sink, even though I have a deep, undermounted sink. I wouldn't order it again.
