More overseas junk

Architectural posts say what letter mailbox they are compatible with, but the mailboxes don't tell you what letter they are . And vice versa. HORRIBLE to match the compatible parts. This is worse than if IKEA made mailboxes.

This box is very attractive and functional.

Metal Mail Box

Install mailbox same day as it was delivered. No problems at all with the installation. Seems to be be well built. Pricing was just a little higher than expected, hopefully it will be better than the plastic box I replaced.

Exact Replacement

Excellent quality mail box that replaced the exact model that was severely damaged when a large tree fell on the top. We are so happy Home Depot carried the model that works for us.

Very nice mailbox. The large size made our mail carrier very happy, too. Paint finish looks great and the mailbox was very well packaged. Install is very easy on a standard post.

Love my new XL mailbox.

It’s definitely a lot larger than our previous (standard size) mailbox, but once installed it looked great! I’m sure our mail person will appreciate being able to fit small/medium packages in the mailbox instead of having to go to the front door. The mailbox is well made and stylish.

This is a huge mailbox! Even seeing the measurements beforehand, it seems way bigger in person! I’ll be returning this.

Hasn’t arrived yet

US Postal Service showed they deliver the mailbox but it’s not here so I’ll come back in update my review. The company said they’d send a replacement. I’m very happy about that.

I ordered the bronze color and installed it, which was fairly easy on an existing wood post. It looks nice and is pretty solid. My neighbor liked ours so much she asked me to order her one of the same. Once it was installed we noticed that the door handle was not straight, one side was higher than the other. It wasn't off by much but it was extremely noticeable. After a little redneck engineering by my husband he was able to mostly correct it so it wasn't as noticeable.

Has Achilles heel for a hinge

I like the large size since I get lots of packages, it's HUGE. Sadly not even three months after it was installed , the right hinge fell apart. It uses a simple metal cotter pin, for lack of a better word, through a hole in the hinge pivot. It is made of low quality metal and quickly rusted, broke and fell out. The left side followed a month later. After bending the tabs back in to place, and replacing the now gone pin with stainless wire, it opens and closes with difficulty, disappointing.

Handle broke after a week

I can’t recommend this box. It’s big and the box itself is built of a sturdy metal, but the handle screws to the box via two short, tiny screws that barely hold. My handle broke within a week of use and now just dangles off there waiting to be trashed. Bad buying experience. I regret everything about it.

The mounting holes match the mounting holes on my post. Easy to mount. Extra large box holds packages and larger mail. Very happy with this mail box.

Legit large metal mailbox.

I love the color, the size and the service provided. It is true to what my screen showed as a color. I had a normal mailbox and wanted something alittle bigger for the puffy envelopes and this is definitely bigger than a normal box!! I read other reviews in about dents and screws.. it’s 2024 - everything’s made cheap: the dents dent back and/or in a noticeable area and the screws are definitely replaceable.
