Reviews

The Delta Lenta kitchen sink faucet was received and is as represented in the Wayfair site pics and descriptions. I am happy with the product (installed 24 hrs. ago). The install instructions could be and should be clearer. Especially the mounting bracket (item 2) instruction. The illustration seems to require it to be installed below the counter with the locking screws adjacent to the rear cabinet surface. After struggling for an hour or more with the pec water lines and water hose to fit in the bracket designated area I said to myself, Nuts(!!), and turned the mounting bracket 90 degrees and had it installed it in a minute. This would be a 5-star review except for the less-than-best installation instructions.

At the base of the faucet, Delta uses a flimpsy foam as gasket to prevent water from leaking down to the underside cabinet. For this high-end faucet, a rubber o-ring should be used instead, as the foam gets hardened a lot sooner than rubber.

Paid a little more, thinking a Delta Faucet would be top quality. It does say By another name, which I assumed was the model. The finish looks very cheap like it's something at here too later instead of the nice chrome finishes. Works fine just looks cheap. I take it out and remove it, but I'd have to call the plumber to take it out and remove it and buy that time I've got a lot of money in it. I would not Buy it again nor would I recommend it

Great finish (matte black) and so pretty. Function is excellent; the buttons are sturdy but comfortable, seating for pull out faucet snaps nicely back into position. High Quality; Highly Recommend.

Not installed

I bought a faucet and paid for the installation. Lowe’s called after I received the item and said the installer would contact me within 2 days. No one has contacted me. It’s been 5 days. I have already been charged $175 for instillation. The faucet has not been installed.

Recommend you not buy this faucet

I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews.

Very well made sleek and modern faucet. Love the plate cleaning feature. Easy to clean and doesn't show fingerprints. The magnetic head return is the first I have had and works terrific. Only took a few days to get use to the hot being toward you and the cold straight up, which was opposite to our old one, but it's like anything else, just need to get use to it. Would definitely recommend this purchase.

Bad luck with this one

I'm glad all the other reviewers have had good luck with their faucets. It's pretty, I'll give you that. We've had ours for a little over 2 years and have had significant problems with it. A plumber installed the faucet. It started dripping just a few weeks after installation - and per Delta fixing it involved taking part of the faucet apart, taking the supply lines out, emptying them into a bucket, and more. I couldn't get the supply lines off so it has dripped ever since (yes, that's on me - but it shouldn't have started dripping that soon.)

The faucet looks nice but the water pressure is HORRIBLE. If it wasn’t so difficult to remove it and return it, I would. But it was expensive to have it installed so I guess I’m stuck with it. DONT BUY! Also, that 3rd specialty spray is totally useless. Gimmicky and serves no purpose.

Hate this faucet! Water pressure is terrible. Spray function doesn't remove anything that's the least bit stuck on a plate and the ShieldSpray is completely useless! Worst faucet I've ever had. DO NOT BUY!

Love my new faucet, sleek, works really well, great water pressure. I've had it up and running for just a few days now but it's such a huge improvement from my previous faucet, I'm very happy with it. The instruction booklet wasn't super clear and could use more specific details, mostly just vague pictures without much indication as to what is to be used where, clearly its a generic booklet that gets thrown in for multiple types of faucets. Thankfully the installation video online was helpful and we were able to figure it out by going back and forth between the video and booklet.

Very dissatisfied

I purchased this product with full anticipation. I am very dissatisfied with using it. Firstly, its water flow is very small, making flushing inconvenient; Secondly, when the touch stops, water will continue to drip. It is necessary to truly turn off the faucet to prevent dripping. I bought another faucet for 1/5 of its price, but the water flow is five times that of it. I can't help but want to return it after using it for over a month.

The Delta Lenta faucet has been in use for two weeks. The style appeals to us. Function has been excellent. Nothing to dislike. I replaced another Delta faucet that served us well for many years. Was just time for a new look. The new faucet has plastic tubing for supply lines rather than copper tubing as the replaced one had. Obviously, a cost cutting move.

Lenta Single Handle Pull-down

Faucet performs its tasks as it should. Easy to follow instructions for installation. Package of parts included a few items not identified in instructions. Instructions state to loop water line tubing but the tubing is Not flexible for looping. Instructions state: "ensure tabs on escutcheon and cover plate are properly located in slots in bottom of faucet hub -- tabs are NOT long enough to connect with slots in the bottom of the hub. Therefore, the faucet hub is Not secure and can possibly shift position when the single handle is activated or the faucet neck is moved from one sink basin to the other.

Design & Function

I purchased this faucet as part of a kitchen remodel. We've had Delta faucets previously and have been pleased with them. I debated whether we needed the touch version, but now I'm so happy I decided to go with it. It's super convenient when cooking - especially when handling raw meat. It comes with 6 AA batteries and the battery pack sits under the sink. Not sure yet how frequently they have to be replaced. I had a plumber install it for me, so I can't speak to how easy that process is.

Starting the new year off with Delta and Lowes!!

This single handle faucet is not only very attractive, its functionality is superior to the faucets I've had in the past. The process has been fantastic from the ordering to the quick delivery and the ease of installation. My sink had been drilled with four widely spread holes so I will need to get filler caps from Delta but the deck plate that was included, looks great and cover the two center holes nicely.

This replaced a 12 year old high end faucet that we could not get parts for anymore. (Disappointing, considering what we paid for it! Never again…) The finish on this looks great and the quality seems really good so far. It operates very smoothly.

The faucet is attractive. Unfortunately the sprayer sprays three sets from one side and three sets from the other side. This becomes an ineffective Spray. Also, this faucet has low water pressure, One has to hold the button down the whole time to use the swirl function. I wish it were better. I would have chosen something more upscale in quality and price had I known. Unfortunately you don't find out until the plumber installs it.

We purchased this based on the reviews. We were looking for a faucet/sprayer combo, since despite replacing our formerly separate sprayer multiple times, it continued to break and we thought this would be a better long term solution. The installation was easy enough to complete, however, because of our previous set up, we had 4 holes drilled in our countertop for: the old faucet, soap dispenser, sprayer, and on/off handle. We could not use the mounting plate as it didn’t quite extend over the (now) spare holes in our counter as a result of the conversion to this faucet. We had to go an get separate metal plugs. There was nothing in the instructions indicating we might need to use silicone caulk or any mention of potential leaking by not taking this extra step. Needless to say, several days after the first installation following the instructions included, we continued to monitor under the sink for leaks and they did happen. We had to reinstall with silicone caulk the second try. The sprayer will take some getting used to, the spray pattern lacks pressure in my opinion and the spray types are a bit odd, but we will get used to them. Would recommend.

Lacks significant water flow

I just had this faucet installed 3 days ago! What a horrible product! The water flow lacks any power. My plumber took the boxes with him otherwise I’d have it uninstalled and returned. I’m going to none the less buy a new faucet and throw this one in the trash. I didn’t watch the video when I purchased it but will on my new faucet. The water has little force. It removes no food from a plate. I’m really disappointed.
