This kettle looks gorgeous but does not function very well. If you fill it too high, it bubbles over. It drips a lot while pouring and just seems to be poorly engineered. But it looks beautiful on the shelf!

Perfect for my new kitchen

I was so excited for this tea kettle, as I have had Chantals that have lasted years. I am so disappointed. The wooden knob on the lid broke off entirely within a few months, and the hardware is corroded. So, now, we have to fill it through the spout — not ideal for obvious reasons. Also, I can confirm others’ complaints about how the water kind of erupts from the spout (dangerous), though this only happens if it’s overfilled and poured immediatelywhile whistling. That being said, it’s hard not to overfill it when you can’t open it up to see how full it is… This was supposed to be an “investment,” but I kind of feel like I spent 70 to be inconvenienced every time I need to boil water.

Enamel comes off after one year of use

We've had this kettle for a little over a year. It is beautiful. We loved it and used it daily but after around a year of use the enamel inside the kettle started coming off. We used this kettle exclusively to boil water. Crate and Barrel won't do anything now because the return period has passed, and the manufacturer only warrants their products for one year. Very disappointed that this product only lasted one year.

Great kettle. We’ve been happy with it so far. It gets a bit spilly when overfull but it looks great with the faux wooden handle.

My wife loves it

I bought this for my wife for her birthday and loves it. She uses it almost every night for her sleepy tea and gets at least 8 hours a night now! I can't recommend this product enough.

Doesn’t work

This kettle does not pour correctly, boiling water drips down the bottom and all over the counter no matter how slow or fast you pour. It also steams with very little water and enough to make two coffees spouts onto the stove while making gurgling noises but no whistling is heard, it is certainly not overfilled.. bad buy

Cute kettle. Whistles. Easy to fill and clean. Only issue is that it leaks a bit when pouring. Otherwise I’m very happy with it.

Thought this is the cutest kettle I’ve ever had, warranty dept would do nothing for me in regard to the chipping and rusty spots after only a few uses.

Lovely Teapot!

Love the shape and color of the teapot. The wood handle is beautiful and doesn't get hot. The only issue is size of the surface of the bottom of the teapot - it is too small for my bigger burner and too big for the small burner so it takes long to heat the water. Otherwise I love it.
