Perfect for Synchronized Burners
The griddle cooks evenly across the whole surface, even in the space between the two burners. We chose stainless steel because we do not like non-stick coatings, but we have no trouble with things sticking to it. It cannot be used above medium heat and it takes quite awhile to heat up, but works perfectly, especially when you do the drop-of-water test before putting food on it. We have had it for 6 months and are happy we found this after trying cast iron & an expensive carbon steel one.
Hot mess
Pros- works great with synced induction stovetop (the main reason i bought it)); Cons- food sticks and takes a lot of oil to keep pancakes from sticking, doesnt fit in dishwasher because of the handles, and soooo hard to clean oil residue off. Returning and will purchase the nonstick version.
Awesome quality
Very nicely built. A lot better quality than I expected. Cooking with stainless steel requires some skill, but great that you do not need to worry about eating any non-stick coating.

i own this, bought it from here. i have other all clad stainless steel cookware and i love it. this, however, i do not love. i try hard to take good care of it, cure it, use it as i use the others, and this thing is just a bear to clean. no matter how much oil i use. i never cook above medium heat, i have barkeepers friend, it doesn't matter. this thing is just a pain.

My adult daughter used our 2 burner aluminum griddle on our old electric range. She asked for one for X-mas. I soon discovered that things had changed in the griddle arena in the last 40 years. I decide that the requirements had changed and I came up with new criteria: 1. No coating on the surface. (as these eventually come off and may be hazardous to your health.). They may also limit the tools that can be used on the griddle. 2. Useable on any cooktop, gas, electric, flat or raised. 3. It should not scratch the surface of a flat cook top, 4. As it fits on a flat surface it could not have a grease reservoir. But grease needed to be drained f rom the hot griddle. This griddle is the only one that I could find that met my criteria. The non-center hands allow the excess fat to be poured off, if needed, using mitts or pot holders. My daughter called me New Years day tp say that she had followed the instructions for use and that it had worked perfectly. She loved it.The handles may make storage less efficient, but their advantages are well worth it. This is a well made and well designed product and I am sure it will last as long as my old aluminum one.
