Great sconce for bedroom!

I looked everywhere for a pin-up sconce to go with our traditional/contemporary bedroom that has a low profile bedframe and small nightstands. So glad I found this one! It was easy to install as a pin-up (we did not hardwire so can't speak to that). I placed one over each night stand for our king bed. They save a lot of surface area on our small nighstands, and the no-touch on/off/dim is incredible. I love that I don't have to fumble with a switch. We installed them close enough so my husband and I can use our hands to wave it on and off while laying down. Total game changer! I also liked that there is a metal cover for the cord so that it hangs neatly straight down. This is a very traditional/transitional style and great dark brown/black color without being bronzy. The shade is high quality and thick enough to diffuse the light nicely for a bedroom. All around very happy with the purchase!

Impossible to install

Now I know why one of the lights I got was not package correctly and missing parts. Someone else had tried to install and gave up. Poor design. Obviously the manufacturer has never put them together.

We replaced a lamp that was similar so it worked out well, what is exactly what we want it.

Perfect light

I wanted a lamp for my bedroom and hadn't even considered one that I could control without fumbling around looking for the on/off knob. It was easy to install. It looks so pretty, even better than the picture. And, with a wave of my hand, I can turn the light on or off. Love it.

Everything about this fixture is satisfactory, from design to quality. The on/off feature that eliminates a switch in favor of a motion is proving to be a bit of an issue. We have 2 fixtures, one each over twin beds in a guest bedroom. It seems the feature is somewhat sensitive and guests are finding the light comes on when not expected. This can interrupt a good night's sleep. Accordingly, we advise unplugging to prevent this from occurring.
