I have several sprayers and really just needed the strainer. The strainer helps keep the tip from stopping up with trash. I like the flexibility of the different tips depending on what I am spraying, The yellow tip works great for spraying weed killer. The red tip works great for spraying insecticide around the house, porches, and around doors.
This did not fit my Chapin sprayer.

I contacted Home Depot support asking about how to get replacement tips for their HDX sprayer. They identified this product as what I needed. It does not fit the HDX unit. I will be returning it to my local store.

Exact replacement for the Chapin or Ace sprayer with the option to have multiple tips .... specific to the model. While no detail is even noted from the mfg, each tip has a specific flow. RED is fine mist etc . The details are on the box.
