This is an exceptional gril and uses 1/2 he gas of others - only 2 small burners but plenty of heat. 2 years old now and holding up well.

Damaged

The shipping box had a 6" or so hole in it. Whatever it was that hit the box and caused the hole caused a dent in the back side of the fire box. The dent was bad enough to cause the paint to crack and flake off, leaving exposed metal. By the time I discovered it, almost everything had been removed from the box, making it next to impossible to rebox and send back. The seller gave me the option to ship it back or accept it as is and receive a credit of $88. I took the credit, unbent the dent as best I could and painted the area with high temp paint. Not sure if the damage was done during shipment or if the seller sent a damaged grill. Either way, I was more than a little annoyed. The grill works fine, great actually. Not sure how long my fix will last though.

Poor quality

Very cheaply made. I had one just like this for 14 years and the lid, side walls, and stand are twice a thick. I can set the heat and add my food and come back in 5 minutes and temp has increased 50 degrees. Does not cook anything like my old Tru IR grill. I really would like my money back!

The Little Grille that Packs a Punch!

We've had an older version of this grille at our vacation home for several years, and love it.

Well this is the grill I wanted in the pic, Tru infra red with a griddle & was sent a different Charbroil that wasn't tru infrared & no griddle. I guess they resolved it but no to my liking!! I have a grill I didn't order & didn't want & no griddle! So my rating isn't for the try infrared that I wanted my rating is for all the problems I ensued. My rating is for Charbroil Performance grill that I received & didn't want. The tru infrared grill I would have rated it 4 or 5 but the one I got I would rate it a 1.

Nice Grill, Would Buy Again

I purchased this grill as a replacement for my old Charbroil infrared grill which I used often. The old style had a metal trough above the burners which spread the heat evenly. The trough also made it easy to use the rotisserie simply by removing the grates.

Disappointed purchase

This is the second grill in this style that I have bought. I love the way it cooks. My last purchase was in 2016 . That grill lasted 8 years. The new one that I just purchased will never last that long. The metal is thin and the construction is weak. I am disappointed in the purchase. It still cooks well for now, but it will never last that long.

Really nice product

Assembly was a snap. Great quality cabinet and a good size for our summer home. I was able to cook 6 full size Rib Eye steaks to perfection. Nice even heat, and a great design.

Outstanding build.

This is a nice grill. Not super easy to assemble, but well made. I recommend you have help to lift the grill onto the frame. These grills last. The igniter works very well. The lid is diesel. We have high praise for this brand from years, decades, of using their grills. Well done? Perfectly cooked every time.

I purchased this the past year. Perfect except the container for the grease is rather small. Resulting in grease overflowing during cooking. I used the grill approximately 4-5 times over the summer. Have inspected different models that have larger grease containers and easier accessibility. Requesting this item be picked up by Junk service. I guess it is good if you don't cook too often
