Bottom railing arrived in brushed nickel like I ordered; towel bars, top railing and rollers are chrome.

The doors are beautiful but if your opening isn't exactly level then I would recommend others because you have very little room for adjustments if the walls or threshold are out of alignment. This is a problem for older structures that may have settled over the years. Having a little higher splash rail at the bottom & a little wider side rails would help a lot with this problem & allow for more adjustment.
Beautiful doors for exactly plumb spaces only
One warning: Make sure that you’re NEW remodeled bath is plumb - NOT your current bath.
Front sill angle
We have a Koehler base and the front sill is pitched for water drain. These doors do not accommodate for for drain pitch. I'm going to shim side lower door stops to make it work. I didn't read this in any discretion of doors. When I got directs it does state it has to be level. Liked the doors too much to return.
DreamLine Sapphire was picked over a custom door
After SO much research I am glad we decided to go with a DreamLine product. I called customer service twice while deciding and both times the representative was very helpful. The DreamLine folks were much more detailed and informative than Lowes. Which is understandable. I went with DL Sapphire on their recommendation. I needed a bypass bc of space issue in a guest bath, love the glass thickness, and most of all the protection this glass has against build up. We live in Missouri and even with a water softener we have hard water. My master bath was a custom door. I called and found out they did nothing to protect the glass which is why we have etching. We had our tile man install. This is not a job for the regular folks.

I chose this door because of the clean lines. However, it should be noted that this door has NO adjustment for even slightly uneven walls. This means we have almost an inch gap from door to wall on one side. Our contractor came up with a creative solution but there is zero room for error. I also don't like that the doors have only one handle on each side - if I want to close the door I just slid open, I have to touch the glass vs having an interior handle to use. I wish I had purchased a fixed panel door instead.
I wanted frameless doors to have a seamless look. But these doors have rubber gaskets on the edge of the glass doors which kind of ruins the look. I understand that the rubber keeps the shower water in, but I fear over the years it will discolor. Also, I don't know if the Clearmax is such a big advantage. The glass still requires squeegeeing. I am glad I got the bypass doors. It makes it much easier to access the stall and clean the glass.

The door is nice and solid. It fits the space well, looks great, and leaks only a little bit of water, but that is due to the wall not being quite straight at the bottom. Nothing that can not be easily fixed. The quality of the door seems good. The only complaint is that it took over a week to ship the door about 40 miles from the warehouse to my Home Depot store. It was at least 7 days in transit. I suspect it may have arrived at my local store sooner but someone did not check it in. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.
Don't buy this door
This is not an ordinary shower door as it has no side rails.
[Rewarded Review] I like it. Will probably order another!
Bought this about two years ago. I was unable to find a better product at this price. I read one review that said the walls had to be 100% plumb. The company added that they agreed. I agree with the reviewer who said walls are almost always out of plumb. My memory may be failing me, but I don't recall this being an issue when I installed. As I recall, I had to adjust the top rollers so that they would cause the glass to meet the without a gap. I broke one of the towel bar bolts when tightening it up, but Dreamline was stellar in giving me a replacement. Dreamline talks about about some glass treatment they have applied, but the instructions glossed over that and indicated I had to squeegee glass after showering...bummer! Have finished building in another 60" wide shower and I expect I will go with this same door again!
Custom door look
I’ve worked with Dreamline doors for many years and always recommend it to my customers. They offer a custom door look without the custom door price which makes it a great value. ICustomer support is excellent!! I recently had a mishap with one of the glass panels and it was damaged! Dreamline sent out a new panel under warranty and free shipping even after I explained that it was my fault! I highly recommend them!

This is a really nice shower door , the coating on it works well to keep it looking perfect, we use a 16" window squeegee on it after using, takes a few seconds to swipe it and it looks like new after one year in daily service . Wiping down the bottom aluminum rail makes a big difference too. The bearings used are quality, a gentle push is all that is needed to open/close them. You have to be careful not to get them moving too fast since each panel has some mass and they want to keep going. I installed them myself following directions, making sure there is lumber in the wall behind the top block since all weight is supported by the a small blocks at each end of the rail. The walls must be very square including the tile surface since there is no adjustment. Overall we love them and would highly recommend the DreamLine products

I searched for a frameless shower door set, and settled on this one because Home Depot's price was the best for this particular item, including free delivery to my home.

This was the second Charisma 56 x 60 x 76 frameless sliding Shower Door in Brushed Nickel. The first one went in great and we loved it. We bought a new house and we ordered the same shower door. We had the same contractor install it but we think he installed it incorrectly. We have had leaking and the doors do not slide as smoothly. We had him come back once but we are still having problems. Not sure what to do now.
excellent quality and value

this shower door has turned out excellent so far. My friend and i (both non-professionals, but a bit handy) installed it. VERY important to follow the instructions closely! VERY important to have walls plumb and strong. VERY important to have the track perfectly level. attractive appearance with no wall frame. Very easy to clean because of the design of the lower track (drip edge).

This had to be the worst purchase I can remember over the years. I have tried everything to keep the water from leaking out of the bottom where the plastic guides are located. I wish i could just return this and start all over. The amount of high quality silicon caulking I have used is ridiculous. Such a poor design. The only good thing about the product was it was simple and straight forward to install but what does that matter if it does not keep the water in. If I can't get it to stop leaking I will spend the money and have a glass company come in and replace it with a custom door. If dreamline has any ideas I would like to know. One last thing, I have a dreamline in our downstairs bathroom which I installed about 3 years ago (swinging door type) it is perfect and extremely happy with it to this day. What a shame that the product is not what it used to be. Not happy.

Had this installed by contractor and he did mention it was a bit trickier to install than the framed kinds of doors. However, they look beautiful in out new bathroom! Really make the bathroom! Doors work nicely, really quality feel to it and no water leakage. I wanted to mention that we installed this in our small bathroom of 54.5 inches wide. This seemed like out best option even though it was not recommended since it still gave us an opening of 24 inches wide, just a bit of an overlap. Works fine, if the overlap doesn't bother you, you can still clean the glass since both sides slide open. Also, you can keep the doors open when not in use and the towel bars on either side line up so it looks really nice. Overall really pleased with this door. Glad we went with this one.
