Not blackout
I bought the "CHICOLOGY Cordless Roman Shade Del Mar Pearl Grey (Blackout)" shade (3 of them for 3 side-by-side windows). The boxes all indicate this color/style on them. But these are definitely not blackout. They are room darkening at best, and not even great at doing that.

Chicology 36 inch roman type window shade. I really like the use of magnets to open and hold the fabric up in place. This installs like mini blinds - just two brackets and your ready. Maybe this model is the wrong one for me but the fabric seems kinda thin. Otherwise I'm giving it a try on a window in hallway that only has one window. I think a room darkening would be better in a bedroom setting.
[Rewarded Review] Sweet shade
I was unfamiliar with this style shade before I got this, but it is a pretty nice design. Definitely not “fancy”, but it is a cool looking window treatment nonetheless. I like that the shade attaches to the top mounting bar with Velcro, so you can remove it without taking the whole thing down. It definitely filters light nicely, and the magnetic strips work well to adjust the shade.
[Rewarded Review] Easy to install and clean window treatments
My wife has been eyeing these window treatments for some time now. We finally got a chance to get one and it was super easy to install with the use of minimal basic tools. I was able to install it in about 5 minutes and loved the end results. We plan to install more of these around the house. The velcro feature was a fantastic surprise. This means that we can wash them when they get dusty or dirty. I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends.

We had vertical blinds in our bathroom over the tub and my wife wanted something else. The Chicology Runway Ready-Made White Cordless Light Filtering Magnetic Fabric Roman Shade 36 in. W x 64 in. L, Runway White (Light Filtering) was an elegant replacement. Install was very simple and completed in under five minutes. There are two heavy plastic hangers which hold the support bar. The fabric is removable for easy cleaning of the shade. This shade does not block light but rather filters most of it out. The bottom magnet bar has a convenient clear handle too adjust the fabric between bars. Connect them all together to fully raise the shade or skip one or two to adjust the height.
