Not like ones i got 5 years ago

These dont go down all the way. Only about 20 inches unlike the old ones that went all the way down or up. I got Arlo ones elsewhere and they are more like the old jc penny ones. These that jc penny sent were achim brand which you can find elsewhere way cheaper. Jc penny doesnt name the brand on the website.

This operates easily & has a clean look for our office. It was easy to install. And ready to help provide extra privacy. If you’re thinking about it, get it! Thanks Home Depot.

Have had the shades for 3 weeks. We installed 2 shades with no problem. This shade had the exact features I wanted at a reasonable price, less then other retailers. The top down bottom up feature works great, the quality is good, the fit is perfect. Ordering and delivery were quick and easy.

Broke after 1 1/2 years

I love that these allow the top portion to come down but after 1 1/2 years, the string on one already broke. I thought the quality was great until that happened and the company doesn't offer any sort of warranty. It may be worth spending a little more to buy from a reputable brand that will back their products. The blinds in rooms which are rarely used are fine so if you don't plan on using often, they should be good.

Each time I order, I get a different type. Once again, this completely different so I have to move brackets. I've only installed 1 out of 3 and it had a slight issue in its mechanism so that I had to work around it with the backet. Each time I order I have to move brackets. BUT....the thing I dislike the most about these is that they do not go all the way down. That certainly should be in the description. The top rail will go about 8/10ths down. My previous ones would go 100% down (all purchased from JCP). Had I known this in advance, I might have gone with a competitor. I didn't because their description stated they didn't go all the way down. Also, if you are used to 1 single strand going up, now their are 2 strings (4 altogether). The headrail appeared like it would be a nicer look but upon installation there is an obvious gap. These are just OK. I received Achim brand. I wish I had paid less.

Hardware was missing and had to reorder, plus Walmart in New Lenox Illinois ran out of labels to ship my item back and I had to travel to another store to return item!!
