Will fit both left and right closing.

The engineering in this product is quite innovative. The documentation is severely lacking. The documentation shows the door opening from right to left. Which is what I needed. The latch delivered opening is from left to right based on the latch going down versus latching up. I was quite upset until I realized the covers can be swapped using the two screws. In doing so you turn the inside and outside latch controls to the other side.

Doesn’t work for pocket door

The idea of a pocket door is that the door fits in a pocket. The knob that locks the door sticks out past the width of the door preventing the door from fitting into the pocket. Design flaw. The knob should be 1/8” shorter..

Dissatisfied!!!!

I tried to order 2 pocket door locks fo my motorhome & it charged me for 9 & would not allow me to order just 2. I won’t be back! This site is not worth a single star !

I ordered 4 for inside

I ordered 4 for inside pocket doors to match new Stanley door hardware that I have been very pleased with. Unfortunately, 3 out of the 4 pocket door latches were broken. They were missing the internal spring that controls the position of the latch rendering them useless for locking.
