Diverter non-functional within a few months.
Diverter was sticky right away and then broken completely within several months after installation.
Do not buy! Faulty diverter.
We bought this for our bathroom remodel in 8/2023. There is a plastic button to press to divert water flow between the 2 shower heads. It always was sticky from the beginning after installation and has now broken entirely less than a year later. Home Depot is not standing behind the product they sell and told me I have to take it up with the company. So far the company has not responded to me. I am very disappointed with this purchase and do not recommend the product.
Not Happy
We installed this unit in our house last June. The diverter button got stuck, essentially rendering this unit to a rain shower only. The unit looks good and functions well. However, the diverter button is an issue. It's getting stuck frequently and I have to keep pushing/ banging on it to release. I would really not expect this from a $300+ unit.
I don't know what the other reviewers are used to but the water pressure was absolutely garbage.
Garbage - And they do not stand by the product
Garbage. And I know - I've owned two of them. The first one, the push button diverter failed. But, because I didn't save the receipt - and - I had to drill holes in the ceramic - I had to replace the garbage with another one. Two months later, the push button diverter failed, again. Grohe knows about this issue, and has done nothing. My hope was that I could buy a manual diverter that could replace the junk they sold me. No such luck. The Grohe rep was very nice on the phone, and advised that this issue is pervasive. Yet, no solution. They did, however, try to sell me a retrofit, for $450. The retro fit would require me to patch tile - which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place. So, I am $700 into a shower system that does not work and a company that could care less. Lesson learned.
Just love it. Rain shower is very pleasant,
Bought one 6 months ago. The push button diverter broke. I didn’t save the receipt. Because the install included drilling into the bath tile, I had to buy the exact model as a replacement. Grohe wasn’t helpful. So, waiting for the replacement to fail. Total cost over $700. Receipt saved so at least now when I have to replace the new one it won’t cost me.
Everything worked out excellent other than the wall screw inserts (moly plug) that they gave you to use for tile didn’t hold very well used a better moly plug for tile
Yes, Grohe product met my expectation and was very easy to install.
Precisely what I wanted
This shower is exactly what I wanted. I installed it several months ago. It was fairly easy to install and it integrated perfectly with the existing plumbing. It looks great and more importantly, provides a very luxurious experience in the shower.
Versatile and high quality
Very happy with this high quality versatile shower system. Meets all the family’s showering needs, including seniors.
Great product and easy to install
this is a good product, easy to fix and work perfectly. i came back to buy another one for my second bathroom
The wand is accessible by anyone and the diverter is placed low so anyone can reach it. Perfect for someone with mobility issues. And looks sharp!
This show system has everything we wanted - the rain shower head, the hand-held sprayer, the control valve (switch between the shower sprays) is at chest-level, not at the top of the shower that short people have trouble reaching. Easy to install, no drilling required (but can fasten with screws to the wall if desired). Highly recommend!
It breaks within months of using it
As others have said, the diverter valve is faulty - so you cannot switch between the two shower heads. This fails within months of installing. I strongly discourage others to purchase this.
Hidden connection loosens over time, massive issue
We used this shower head for approx. 3 years and did like it, but the connection is hidden behind the silver plates, so we were unaware that it was loosening over time. It abruptly came apart within the hidden area and caused massive water damage within minutes of that happening. The water sprayed into the wall causing the damage to the ceiling underneath. Do not buy this!
Little low on pressure but easy to install and use
very nice good looking and well made design. However the water pressure is rather low / limited.
Diverter button stuck
Bought it in April and already the diverter button is stuck in one position.
