Horrible hose!

There is no disagreement; the hose on the Multi Function Hand Shower kit is horrible. It does not hang down straight... it has a memory with a wide curve that gives an instant impression of being very cheap. The hose is so stiff and looks so ridiculous that there is no doubt Kohler knows it. Kohler should be embarrassed. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

Looking forward to having one of these in the shower, once it's installed.

Arrived quickly and in good shape. Very pleased with the quality and efficiency of the service.

The shower bar is ok - be prepared to use your own anchors. The shower head is ok. The hose is meh - it's stiff as anything and I ended up replacing it with a good stainless shower hose.

Can’t be a Kohler product

The Expensive Model is Better

This is a nice, basic shower fixture which comes in 3 different price ranges, the most expensive of which is "brushed nickel". After reading other reviews complaining about the cheesy plastic shower head on the chrome finish model, I ordered the more expensive "brushed nickel" version and discovered that it comes with a solidly crafted, but light weight metal shower head, which delivers 3 spray intensities depending on the width of the spray pattern, nothing fancy, but handy nonetheless.

Easy install

Disappointed. Mostly made of plastic!

I purchased the longer sidebar version of this item about 3 years ago. I was happy with it that I purchased the shorter sidebar version for my other bathroom renovation. It was disappointing to see that pretty much every part was made out of plastic, from the shower head and sidebar adjuster to the shower hose.

I am looking for a solid ada approved slide bar, the holders are plastic so I am not sore how long the week last the bar is steel but I am looking for stronger bar that can be used to hold on as well

Some nice features, but flexible hose is of very poor quality

We just remodeled both of our bathrooms, installing the Awaken handshower kit with other Kohler products in one and Moen products in the other. The one major complaint I have about this handshower kit is that the flexible hose is cheaply fabricated and very stiff. While our Moen flex hose is very pliable and easily sits flush against the wall, the Awaken flex hose is quite stiff, feels cheap and plastic-like, and will stick out from the wall if you don't take care when mounting it. In the attached photo, we had intended the hose to come down and curve left against the tile adjacent to the faucet handle before going up to the handheld, but the hose stuck out from the wall so far that it hit people in the butt (really annoying!!!) and we had to reattach it so the stiff curve in the hose touched the tile instead of us.
