Poor long-term quality. The handles become too hard to turn over time.

For the first year or so the valve handles are easy to turn. Then they become too difficult to turn and you need to have them replaced. When you call the warranty department, they're happy to send you out replacement parts, however, they will suggest that the issue is not the handle assembly but that it's actually the valves. It’s not the valves I know this. When you try to remove the handle assembly to get to the valves you can’t. This is because handle assembly trim and the actual handles have fused to the top of the valve assembly and the valve stem itself. So, you must destroy the handle assembly to get them off and of course that destroys the valve too. You can’t get the valve out because the base of the handle is fused to it. BTW the valve turns on and off easily! You now must replace both the handle and valve assemblies. They will send all the parts out under warranty however you have to do it yourself or pay someone. Guess what, after a year or so the handles are going to get hard to turn again. I purchased three of these faucets at the same time and all three have the same issue. I would avoid this product and purchase something else.

Because our sinks are shallow, I wanted a spout that was lower and these are just right. Great quality from Hansgrohe.

I have used this same faucet Hansgrohe faucet for a few years in polished chrome. I loved this faucet like I would a bright red sports car...but it was always covered with water spots. You just couldn't use it without dripping some water on it, and those drips would always spot. Also they were not that easy to polish off. But danged it was beautiful. I took a chance on this brushed nickle finish. Nobody claimed that it wouldn't water spot, so I was really gambling. I figgered it had to be a little better at hiding water spots than the polished chrome. But I was wrong. IT IS MUCH MUCH BETTER. No, a brushed finish is not quite as sexy as the polished chrome. It is a a bit more refined and sedate, but CLEAN. I have also trained myself to use the lever much like a hospital "wrist blade" while turning my wet drippy fingers off to one side (even this didn't help much with the chrome). This technique plus the brushed nickle pretty much solved 98% of the problem. Nickle is not the same color as stainless steel or chrome, so be ready for that. You don't really notice it unless you hold the 2 together, but the nickle has the slightest pale gold cast, while the chrome or ss will have the slightest blue cast. Not objectionable, just be aware. In my opinion, you can ignore the water spot complaints in this finish. fwt

We purchased this faucet to replace a wide-spread three hole vanity faucet. We selected a hansgrohe based on the very positive experience we've had with our hansgrohe Axor Citterio kitchen faucet. This was definitely more complicated to install than a one-piece three-hole faucet. Aligning and spacing the two handles and valves and the spigot took multiple adjustments. The instructions provided with the faucet were mostly correct (they did not point out the O-rings that go between the handle mounting plates and the escutcheons). The challenge was that the instructions were rather terse and did not include details like aligning the opening on the spigot escutcheon for the drain control rod with the notch on the back of the spigot. It also doesn't point out how to install the spigot shank so that it enables the drain control rod to pass through--along with ensuring that the shank is positioned in the spigot hole to enable the drain control rod to pass through. As noted, the pop-up drain assembly pipe where the drain control rod is located is plastic. The drain itself is metal. We're very pleased with the results, though. The valves work with the same fluid smoothness as our kitchen faucet.

This product has been cheapened since I last purchased one a few years ago. The drain is plastic and not very good at that. Previously, the drain was metal which I find more reliable and easier to install. Tightening various components under the sink goes more confidently with metal components as opposed to a mix. That having been said, the faucet works fine and this brand has been very reliable in my experience. I am a general contractor doing residential remodeling

5 Stars

I purchased these for a home remodel and am happy with them. The sink plug does not seem to work well so I removed them because I don't ever fill up the sink for any reason.

This faucet is attractive and works well, with no drips. The smooth surface makes it easy to wipe down. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the drain assembly began to leak at the point where the pivot ball enters the down pipe, and no amount of tightening, teflon tape, or gaskets would get it to stop. The pivot ball is inside the pipe, so it can't be replaced with a standard pivot ball kit. Lining up the rod with the hole in the drain plug is nearly impossible. I solved the problem by replacing the whole drain assembly with a pop-up drain. If you buy this faucet, do yourself a favor and buy a pop-up drain kit, and don't bother with the one that comes with the faucet.
