Good quality.
Needed a refresh to dated faucet. Could be heavier. Would like handle to be heavier.
Very nice looking faucet. My only tiny quibble is that the various spray types when you use the pull out handle on the spray patterns were slightly odd. I'd give it 4.5, and if I actually read the instructions maybe I'd resolve it. This is for a new ADU and I'm sure my tenant will appreciate having such a nice looking and convenient faucet.
Wonky Spray Head
used facets direct several times in the past, prices are good and shipping is fast. The faucet is nice for the price point the spray head is plastic, and has 3 modes. Installed yesterday. Standard flow (normal faucet), spray mode (which is not a full spray, its only half the head) and shield spray. Shield spray on our is faulty, water comes out in a bubble formation, its totally useless, bad part. My water pressure is fine. The shield spray nozzle is the same as on a lawn pump sprayer. Had I know about the spray modes I would have chose a different model. I will contact Delta to see about getting a replacement head.
Excellent faucet.
After much research, I settled for the Delta Capertee in stainless steel. It works wonderfully. Love the magnetic catch for the spray wand and though the solid stream has a smaller diameter than I'm used to, it is definitely 1.8 gpm which is the max for faucets and showers in California. I didn't need the fancy handless ones which just add complexity to a simple faucet. All the parts have a solid feel and again, it works great.
Like the faucet, hate the soap dispenser.
The faucet is beautiful and works well. What I really don’t like is the soap dispenser. The fill hole is so small I can’t fill it with liquid soap without it clogging and overflowing. I even tried using a funnel but had the same results. Our previous dispenser never had an issue. I don’t understand why they made the fill hole sooo small.
So pleased with this purchase. Beautiful with clean, simple lines and black matte finish. The pull down sprayer is so convenient with easy to change spray options. I chose not to have the soap dispenser installed. Have been using this for a month with no complaints. Would definitely recommend.
Be careful not to pinch the water lines.
Love the product itself. But the install had an issue. When installing it is critically important to watch how the water lines are set up. Be sure that they are inside the groove/notch under the faucet. If not the tubes will pinch and the faucet won’t work well.
It just came and looks beautiful, it will be a nice upgrade to my kitchen. This color was hard to find, but Wayfair had it and in a very sleek style. Can't wait to get it installed.
Found same faucet, lower price nearby
The valve did not let hot water through. So I exchanged it at a local store to avoid the delay of having to return to Faucet Direct.
If only it worked as advertised
Nice looking faucet. The end. Spray feature for spraying off dishes does not work and just forms a big bubble and splashes water all over the place. Great for a faucet that has a “no splash” feature.
Good design and intuitive use.
Nice design easy to install. Water hoses are rather stiff. More intuitive operation. Three spray modes are good for alternate rinses. Spray hose does not retract, which might be convenient; magnetic grab is an improvement over old spring retraction. I left installed the tool (great feature) for tightening the affixing nut, thinking of future ease to remove when time comes; better leave out to avoid affecting hose retraction in use. Delta should blow air at factory to avoid user flushing spray hose --customer service improvement. Price a bit high but worth it.
very sleek design and I like having the soap dispenser - it keeps my kitchen free of clutter. One less thing on my kitchen countertop.
Nothing Special
I installed this myself. I wanted a pull down sprayer, as I want to use the old spay hole for an RO system. Overall, I think the seal mounts better on our granite counter and feels more stable, so that is a plus and I didn´t use extra silicon. Our old faucet was a Delta and had been installed about 15 years ago. It was all metal with copper and meshed steel hoses. For the $219 dollar price, all the parts are now plastic which is harder to work with connecting to the hot and cold. We will see how long it lasts. I am not sure the shield spray is anything special and is more of a selling point. I will probably use the other spray option as it has more power. I would rather get food off dishes than worry about getting splashed. I may try to add more weight on the spray hose so it goes back faster after being pulled out, but the magnet works well for keeping it in place. Other than that, it is working with no leaks. I do like the feel of the turn on handle. It feels smooth to turn on and off.
[Rewarded Review] Top brand with good warranty
Great faucet with very good reviews. The spray function comes out in two separate streams, which is strange, but it works fine. Don’t quite understand the bubble shaped spray function yet. Having a magnetic lock on the spray head is nice. Overall looks and works great.
I haven’t had very long but it seems to be good, wish it had a full spray mode. The soap dispenser, I’ve never had one before, is a disappointment because I thought I could put my big bottle of detergent in the cabinet and use from that but the tube is short and the included bottle is inconveniently screwed in behind the sink.
It works great! I especially love the special bowl spray (I forget what they called it) because it really clears debris off the dishes without all the splashing.
Dissapointed
I have several issues with this faucet features, now that my contractor has it installed. First the head doesn't easily snap back into position, like other brands. Delta's false advertising. Second, it's spray setting is very unacceptable because it's not 365 degree(sort of 2 quarter semi-circles). This results in poor performance when trying to cleanup grimy dishes and pans, etc. Third, the SprayShield setting is rather useless except perhaps for rinsing a glass or cup.
No Water Pressure at all
Installed this faucet and you turned the water on there’s no pressure at all. I can’t even wash dishes. We turned our main valve up and everything nothing. Waste of money! Now I have to spend more money to buy another faucet.
Get What You Pay For...
There was not much "in stock" at our local store when we had to purchase a new faucet (major leak started in old faucet that could not be repaired)...should have spent more as we feel like this one is not going to last long. It's very cheaply made; lots of plastics and little metal. Also, the wrong directions were included>( Hubby was so irritated after he got it installed he said just leave it and we'll buy a quality one later.
Clogged screen but nice faucet otherwise
I read an earlier review about the faucet being clogged with gasket/rubber material.
