A: the diverter is looser than the old one I put a shim in to make it a bit tighter! B: as it turns out the nut job that installed the original used 1/2 inch black pipe instead of copper so unless you also sell a conversion kit, we cannot even use it. But since we threw the box out before we tried it I guess it is ours now anyway.

This spout works very well. I like it. Will buy the second one for my daughter's bathroom.
The spout itself is very nice. Unfortunately, I received an item that was obviously returned by someone else. It was poorly packaged and had finger prints and dry wall dust on it. I used stainless steel cleaner and it cleaned up well. It does not come with a seal between the spout and wall, so it does rattle around a little after installation. The brushed nickel color matched the other brushed nickel products I purchased separately.
A really great and clean look! The item arrived quickly and was easy to install.
