Great stir fry pan
We do a lot of stir frying and this pan is great! I like the size and the non stick feature. We had to swap out our other wok because we switched to an induction cooktop.
Very even heating but far from nonstick
The pans are extremely well-made. They are heavy and heat very evenly. They are extremely nice to look at. But they are absolutely nonstick. Possibly, the worst pans I’ve ever used to try to cook eggs or anything sticky. I think it is misleading to call them nonstick and I would not recommend them to anyone that wanted to do eggs or anything else that could possibly stick. Have to get steel out to clean the grooves and well I do believe they will last they are disappointingly not nonstick. I would recommend using a different company. I will not purchase these again.
I really wanted to be enthusiastic about these pans. Unfortunately, they are really horrible! They are a nonstick pan with some stainless steel ridges. Everything sticks down in the grooves. Everything! The only thing they work for is a solid meat like a steak. If you’re cooking eggs or even hamburgers, the piecespartsparticles gets stuck in the grooves and is a huge pain to clean. Trying to flip a burger or an egg is a disaster. I’ve been around the block, I’ve had a lot of pans. I’ve bought these because I bought the hype. I would much rather use my cast-iron.
Great stovetop pan
Heats quickly, browns food but doesn’t stick at all. Wonderful surface to cook in. Super to clean. Sturdy but not heavy. And love the 2 handles!
My New 8.5 and 10” frying pan set
After washing both 8.5 and 10” frying pan there appears to be white residue that wil go away. Follow Circulon directions for washing. Very disappointed!
Pans
Purchased an 18cm and a 16cm aluminium scratch defence non stick saucepans with straining lids. These pans look and feel of good quality. The overall proof of quality will in in how long they last and remain non stick and scratch resistant,
Non stick? The need that re-read the definition
The pans are aesthetically beautiful and well built. But, the only thing that doesn’t stick is olive oil. I’ve been cooking on cast iron and aluminum and have never had this issue. We “inherited” a set of Circulon Premium pots/pans that were missing the frying pans. Loved those so when it came to adding fry pans I went with the tri-clad. Now wish I had chosen something else.
Love this set
I used this set several times since I received it! Nothing sticks! It’s an awesome set! I got rid of all my old sets and donated them to charity! Great set!
Love it high quality
I have been using this wok for a couple months now consistently and it still looks brand new. It is sturdy and high durability. We have a big family and this is our favorite thing to cook in. This has been my favorite pan ever.
Solid performing non-stick pans for induction
Nice sear and still cleans up well. I bought the green pans but I like these much more. They are the best non-stick pans I have used for my induction stove,
First cook and it left a scorch mark.
I only cooked in the pan once and cooked a filet mignon with a little avocado oil on medium to medium-high. It left a scorch mark and it won't come out. I even tried using the method that was suggested. I am going to send it back and buy a different frying pan from Circulon. Even after scrubbing.
Great quality
These pans are working great for me. I use them as the instruction booklet said. I use oil, not sprays, and heat them to the desired temp then turn them down a bit to cook. The results have been excellent with easy cleanup.
Not very non-stick
Pans have nice appearance, good weight, even cooking, but my scrambled eggs stuck. How are these pans different from original Circulon, from which eggs slid smoothly? Perhaps the circles are too far apart, or efforts to protect food from slough-off of Teflon chemicals necessitated the change. I am dissappointed.
Tri-plan clad
Heavy pans which I wanted. Able to sear meat at high heat without warping the pan. Non-stick not very good. Not a pan to fry eggs in but good for meats and sautéing
Terrible
I have used this pan 2 times and it is horrible. The rings are a combination of steel and the non stick product. The food sticks to the steel. It is also extremely hard to clean. I purchased the pan to replace an older circulon pan that was great but it was worn. Do not waist your money on this pan!
Steelshield-C nonstick failure
I have used the same Circulon Premier Professional cookware for 7 years. Excellent performance but the handle coating has finally degraded. On 8/25/22 I purchased 3 Steelshield-c skillets based on my trust in Circulon engineering quality. I find the non-stick of this new design to be inferior. Food sticks to the uncoated concentric steel rings. While food can be removed by soaking, the cooking of delicate foods such as eggs requires the entire surface to be nonstick or else the food cannot be flipped or removed without damage to the food presentation. Circulon sent me replacement 8 & 10" skillets with the same problem since they will not honor money back return once the product is used even once.
Very Disappointed
I seldom write reviews and even less negative ones but these pans really disappointed me. I have had Circulon sets for over 20 years and loved them which led me to purchasing these. Non stick is not descriptive. So many things stick. I have tried lower heat, more butter when making eggs, oil and still the same problems.
Don't last
Bought 3 of the triclad, and after only a few months, all lost their non stick, and it's frustrating for the cost, now looking to replace. Unless you're cooking something with a lot of liquid, expect things to stick and cake at the bottom :(
Excellent Material and Construction, BUT
Purchased a few weeks ago the 3 frying pans and loved them on first couple uses for searing meats. The quality of the materials and construction appears very good. However, the exposed stainless steel ridges cause sticking, which tears up soft foods when flipping. Great for searing steaks, scallops, and cooking hot sandwiches. Terrible for cooking skinned fish fillets, fried eggs, Omelets, pancakes. Using a non-stick spray helps in the beginning, but only for one flip. In retrospect, if you put exposed stainless ridges up to protect the non-stick coating, I guess the exposed ridges are going to stick. If you have separate non-stick pans for soft textured foods, these are great for searing meats.
