not worth the price

others have said so just validating that 1) the water pressure is not great 2) the temperature of the water is opposite as mentioned (up is hot, down is cold for us), we had to replace ours as well. the first had leaks and the rep at Build said its happened before to others. It is gorgeous and ultimately functions. The positive, its gorgeous and the satin nickel does wear well (we have had it for 1 year and it still looks new).

Save yourself the trouble

As beautiful as it is, as as american user, lever on this product is not intuitive to american users, basically you push in to open and push out to close. Perfectly fine for users inside the house since we live with it. The problem is anytime you have guests they struggle with the lever to open and close. Not sure if thats what caused it cuz people are constantly struggling with it too much, the lever after only been installed for a year now no longer shuts off the water. i think someone put too much pressure on the lever trying to close it and it no longer works. Called rohl they are sending a some kind of cartridge which now i have to pay a plumber to come fix and install. This shouldnt be this complicated, its a $1000 faucet that is totally a pain in the butt. We are stuck with it now, since i bought two for my kitchen, but do yourselves a favor and stay away from it.

The faucet arrived quickly and is so beautiful. I ordered brass and the quality and weed feels very expensive. This will be a show piece in any kitchen. Excited to install it!

Beautiful and functional

This is a beautiful and well made faucet. I did the unlacquered brass to match other finishes in the kitchen. The richness of the finish is wonderful and is starting to patina nicely.

Not the best...

I hardly ever write reviews but felt the need for this item. Do not recommend this faucet, especially at the price point. Other reviewers mentioned the backwards way the water turns on. Pretty awkward. The handle itself gets very hot when hot water is in use. The pull down handle doesn't stay tight against the faucet base (again, other reviewers mentioned this). But the deal breaker for us was the water pressure. We had this installed by a licensed plumber and when they turned it on, we were so disappointed with the pressure. The sprayer barely works it's so low. They cleaned out the head, checked water lines, etc. and just basically said this is the way this faucet works. Terrible. We will be replacing this item for sure.

Cumbersome faucet that is opens 'backwards'

This is a beautiful faucet, but wish we would not have bought it. The lever to open it opens left (not moving right like any other single hole faucet we've ever used. Since people are use to moving the lever right, they pull fairly hard on it when it won't open. This has over time caused the faucet to rotate completely, and the lever to loosen. Such a problem for us with various family members and friends using our kitchen. I put a sign next to the faucet "opens left". It's been 3 years and it's still a problem. Constantly having to turn the entire faucet back in place and tighten the lever. We will be replacing this expensive faucet. But I don't know what else to do.

Well worth it!! Go for it!

We absolutely love our Rohl Patrizia pull down faucet. It paired beautifully with our Kohler apron front farmhouse sink and Quartz countertops. Installation was extremely easy as well, can't wait to use it now that we are moving into our new home soon. It was a splurge well worth it!

Nice

Although very pricey, it seems that's what you have to pay for solid brass. Arrived quickly and I can't wait to install it.

Tarnished lever

The lever has tarnished within 1 week . I called the manufacturer. He said because the finish is a “living finish” that will happen. He offered to send me a new lever, however that will tarnish as well. Not sure how happy I am about that.
