Canning Jars are good for a lot more than canning food. Which I do... But we also always used them to drink out of. ALL MY KIDS LIFE L.O.L and we do now as well. Water tastes better in glass jars with ice in the summer. And glass is better than any plastic. The Half gallon jars are beautiful holding beans or pasta etc. I keep my salt in a jar. Theres lots of choices for size depending where you want then. i have a jelly jar of canning salt by my stove all the time. I store my canning salt yearly in the pantry in marked quart jars. Theyr great to keep thing from getting in your food.

Perfect for my first time canning

I bought these for my first time canning whole peeled tomatoes. They are about the size of what a small can of vegetables from the store would be, which is perfect what I wanted. I only used 5, and they all sealed perfectly. I will be buying more, but the quart size next time.

Damaged Lids! Unusable!

Damaged lids and ringson the jars! Ordered for pick up. Did not inspect the boxes before Walmart employee loaded into the trunk. They were brought into the house 2 boxes at a time. so that means the 2nd box ended up on the bottom of the stack. I just got to the 4th box and found the damage. Always inspect your merchandise !

Mason jars are by far, one of the most helpful items in existence! You can drink out of them, store things in them, can foods in them, make tinctures and essential oils with them, plus craft with them, and these are only a list of what I do with them! They are high quality and very trustworthy. Couldn’t live without them!

A PREVIOUS ORDER OF 6 CASES OF HALF GALLON JARS WAS A DISASTER. ALL BUT ONE CASE HAD BROKEN JARS AND HAD TO DRIVE HALF HOUR TO FIND A SHIPPER THAT WOULD RETURN. BUT THIS DELIVERY WAS PERFECT. DELIVERED ON TIME, JAR CASES WERE INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED AND THEN PACKING AMONG THOSE WRAPPED CASES. NOT A SINGLE JAR BROKEN AND i AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS ORDER. SAVED ME THE HASSEL OF DRIVING IN AWFUL TRAFFIC AND BATTLING CUSTOMERS IN STORE. A TOTALLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE.

Good for many uses

I've been using Ball mason style jars for years. Other, cheaper brands break more easily. If you're canning, your jars are an investment --they should last through multiple canning processes. You don't want your jar to fail during the canning process. I use all sizes!

Jars of Prosperity

These are multi-useful jars that hold up pretty well for vacuum sealing foods. The jars come with their own lids that fit standard vacuum sealers. I have also frozen some of the jars after sealing and they hold up pretty well. The lids are resealable if you are careful. These jars are not heavy in weight but are pretty sturdy, nonetheless. Keeping food fresh for longer shelf life saves money and this is a gift of prosperity for anyone.

Quality product as always!

I recently bought these Ball pint mason jars as I am now canning multiple times a week. These are an excellent product as always. I continue using the same jars over and over for years and it is very rare that I ever have a crack or a break. The cost has rose a little but it is still worth the price in the long run.

20 million plastic bags wasted again.

I’m going to start this with that I would give a 5 star review just to the woman who brought out my groceries. Top notch right there! Great conversation and was super friendly. I didn’t even have to say anything about the fact I REQUESTED to not have plastic bags because she apologized that whoever bagged my groceries hasn’t learned that I asked to use my own bags. I care about the environment. I stopped using the pick up option before because you always give me 20 plastic bags when I can fit it all into a couple of my reusable bags WITHOUT damaging anything! I am beyond frustrated that you offer this option and ALWAYS bag one item into a single bag. Like why?!? Not to mention I’ve had to throw away things because the carelessness of what you do put into a bag together. Today I got my parsley in a bag with my butter on top of it. It was completely squished and unusable. I’ve complained multiple times about this and all I get back is a generic apology and that you will share this with the manager. You don’t even word them differently or personalize them. Nothing ever changes. I spend a lot of money at your store and have given you multiple chances but I think I’ll be doing my shopping elsewhere from now on.

Great will call service with shopping online

During icy winter months me and the senior hubby find it dangerous to walk on the parking lot. So it’s a great to pick up our groceries and anything else we may need with the convenience of getting our goods put in the back of the SUV. Just wished we lived close enough for home delivery. And prices are the same as in store shopping. Walmart makes it easy peasy. A bonus with using my Walmart C card is I get 5% back. 👍🏼

Quality product

I’ve used this brand for all of my canning needs for many years. I remember seeing this brand in my grandmother’s kitchen when I was a child. Always best quality glass jars no breakage issues. I reuse jars over and over. Pretty jars sitting on my pantry shelves is rewarding. I recommend using this brand.

These jars are PERFECT for crafts

I bought these during the holiday season and decided I wanted to try my crafting abilities. I ran across these and decided to make Christmas Gnomes for the family. They turned out amazing and these jars where EXACT size match with the size of the hat, fabric etc. Everyone loved them! I absolutely will be buying more!

Not like Grammys

Price was great, but… these aren’t like they used to be. They are thinner and weigh less than the ones I’ve been using. The bottoms crack easier too when using hot water baths so unless you are using a hand pressurized device these aren’t the best fit for water baths or heat pressured canning. Boohoo!!!

Canning To Trust

All my family and our neighbors used Ball Jars for canning all foods. One very, tiny air bubble in the glass canning jar can be desast. Ball carefully inspects their canning jars for air bubbles. "I " totally trust Ball canning jars and their lids. My family have aquired can goods dating back as far as 30 yrs and they were still as good as the day they were canned.

Broken jars

Three out of the 12 jars I ordered were shattered. More may be cracked but I can’t open the plastic due to glass shards all over inside. Walmart packed the package very poorly. Only one small packing bubble that was popped. I’ve ordered canning jars online before and had them arrive fine when packaged well. Very disappointed!

My Everything Jars

I use these for everything! My favorite way to use them is for leftovers and food prep. I love opening my fridge and seeing clearly what I have. If I don’t use these, I usually end up with food waste because I forget what’s in those other storage containers.

Catch all stuff

I have looked for this everywhere, but all they ever have at the store are the larger sizes and finally saw them online. These are the perfect size for my rubber bands that I use so often, clips for keeping papers together, the smaller tip pens I use with my phone, and the small snacks I give to puppies for being good. That doesn’t count all the uses in bathroom, kitchen and garage. I am always finding new ways to use small jars. Will most likely buy another case or more soon.
