So as a lefty I naturally had a lefty liquid measuring cup, my husband has just made due & so we have been using it for years finally I found this one that works for us both & he is very happy. We both like the veracity of it & its function.

Easy way to measure things that are hard to get out of a measuring cup

I use this regularly for things like mayonnaise and peanut butter. They push right out without leaving stuff behind that is difficult to get out of a normal measuring cup. Works well for normal liquid and non-liquid items as well. The only trick is remembering which set of measures to go by - one for solids and one for liquids.

I never knew I needed this until I decided to make some peanut butter cookies with my toddler. We all know baking is a science so measurements have to be on point. Well when I tried to scoop it out of a regular measuring cup, its was a mess and I want able to get every single drop out. Now that I have his, I get the exact amount whether it’s a liquid or solid, have no products getting everything out and into my mixing bowl, food processor or blender and clean with no hassle. All you do is pop it out and wash by hand or on top rack in dishwasher, put it back together and ready for use with no hassle. Thank you whoever decided to come up with this creative idea because it’s a bakers dream!

When I saw this, I had to have it. It is great for measuring sticky ingredients. Cleans easily too.

Wish I'd found this sooner!

Easy to use, easy to clean. I use it for peanut butter, Crisco, honey, syrup and other sticky, gooey stuff. Works exactly as I'd hoped.

Perfect the first time

I was apprehensive, but took the plunge and measured out a cup of cooking oil. No spills, drips, or leakage. I can never find the right measuring cup, so this all purpose liquid measure is ideal.

What’s your measuring is sticky there is no substitute for this thing

Every time I make something that has peanut butter, almond butter, or honey in it I was wishing I had one of these. Finally I got this one and it works great. It comes apart and cleans easily. It empties out completely. Very easy to use very easy to read the measurements, and it’s very durable.

I bought this previously and it had an unfortunate accident with a very hot burner on my stove. So I repurchased the same item. I clearly like the way it works if I purchased it again.

I love these measuring cups. They are excellent for baking. They take a little bit of getting used to using. But, they cannot be beat for accuracy.

Everyone need this!

Ever year when I bake shortbread, I wished that I had this 2-cup Adjustable Measuring cup. It is perfect for measuring shortening! It is pretty darn versatile and OXO products are so well designed. Shortbread baking season is coming soon and I can't wait to use this. Why did I wait so long?

This Oxo 2 cups (1 pint) adjustable measuring cup is super useful as it measures in ounces, cups, and can be used for both dry or liquid ingredients. There are two components and you just have to adjust the bottom up to the measure line you want and then you are good to go. Easy to clean just separate components and and put into dishwasher.

Works well for sticky ingredients

It does what it's supposed to do. I use it for sticky ingredients such as peanut butter, coconut oil or shortening. The only drawback is that I wish there was more friction overall in the unit, it's hard to keep the plunger at the measurement you want without it moving. Other than that, it's fab!

Nice but overpriced

The OXO strainer works very well and thanks to the plug you can normally get a completly fat free seperation. Similar separators cost about 3.50 - 6.00 compared with about 11.00. This is rather a lot ot pay for a 5p plastic stopper, a soft handle ( not really needed) and a straining lid (60p). So yopu are getting a good product but paying rather a lot for the OXO name.

Very good but not for everything

There are great for alot of things because they have liquid and dry measures on them they are perfect for sticky item's like peanut butter, and honey. The problem comes in if you bake.baking is an exact science. I baked measuring with traditional cups and these cups and the the recipes did not come out correct. I would use traditional cups for baking or a scale as I usually do and save these cups for liquids or recipes when the measurements don't matter

Finally one that is dishwasher safe

We have had a somewhat similar measuring device for years but it was not dishwasher safe. Finally saw this one and took a chance. So far we really like it. It is easy to read, easy to use and very convenient. If you use anything like peanut butter or Crisco in your cooking you should really consider one of these. Now that we have one that is dishwasher safe we need to retrain ourselves to use it for many more things. The key will be to do all the dry ingredients first and then the liquids. Then all we need is this.

This thing is seriously a life saver! I love it so so much! I find myself going to this product more then my other measuring tools! I love using it for things like peanut butter and thicker products! There are as many times I have to take a spoon and scrape the sides and with this you do not have to do that at all! I would recommend this product to anyone even beginning cookers!
