Great seal, look, and stackable

Great seal, look, and stackable. However the price has increased greatly from $11 to $14-$16 and we all know that every retailer is pricing high because they can, not because they have too. Transportation cost is primary reason given for high product prices and transportation cost is primarily driven by gas cost and gas has been down for well over a year. With most retailers making loads of money, look at their stock stats. Time to stop taking from your bread and butter retailers.

Great jar if you are willing to be careful

So, I will recommend this item with conditions. The jar seems solid and will keep things secure and airtight as needed. However, the lid is very heavy and the edges are large, and there is nothing really to stop it from falling against the body of the jar when you open it and set/fold it back. So, if you are not careful it could very easily chip, break, itself, or break the main body of the jar. I really like the jar but just think this is a bit of a design flaw and concern.

it is the right size. It is easy to open and seal shut. It keeps the contents fresh. It looks retro and attractive on our kitchen countet.

Nice and big with thick glass, my only complaint is he metal locking mechanism is a bit flimsy. I hope it lasts a long time.

This container is just what I was looking for to store my spiced tea mix. I needed something airtight and not too deep so I could easily use a measuring spoon to get the mix. I’m considering buying more of these for other purposes. Doesn’t hurt that the jar is attractive sitting on my kitchen counter!

So far, I have liked everything about this jar. Easy to take part and put back together after cleaning. I love how flat the top is for stacking. It’s clean looking and I can see what I’ve got unit and how much of the product is left. I’m currently storing brown sugar in it and so far, so good. Great quality from Ball yet again!

The jar didn’t come with any rubber gaskets so it’s glass on glass

Broken jars or containers

The packaging could have been better on the larger box !!!!! There was too much space, allowed the jags to bang together witch caused some of the damage. But most of the damage came from the shipping company !!!!
