Held less than half its rated weight

I followed the instructions to the letter for preparing the wall surface and attaching the hooks. One hook had about a half pound hanging from it and the other had just under one pound, well below their rated holding capacity. Both hooks fell off the wall within a few weeks, and the items they were holding were damaged.

I have used these clear hooks to hold curtain rods. I have wall quilts for interior decorating and really enjoy the strength and invisible feature. I use them for my curtains and don't have to put ugly holes in the wall. We just ordered more!

This product sucks!

I don’t have to go all out and explain my story so here’s the short version. Bought it put it up and it ripped my wall art straight off the wall after a few days and ruined my custom made mirror in my new boutique. Thanks!! never buying again nor do I suggest you buy. Damage free? More like will damage anything you hang on it.

Doesn't Hold

I have used Command Hooks for at least 3 years with no issues prior to last year(when used as directed). Beginning last year the hooks were less dependable(don't stick to wall surface) and I had several small glass ornaments and pictures fall and break. This year I have had many more of the hooks fail where it's just not cost effective to use them. I will return to regular picture hangers and my trusty stapler.

[Rewarded Review] Hooks don't stay on

I bought a package of the medium clear hooks to hang garland over a fireplace. Hooks keep falling off. I followed all of the directions exactly and every morning I get up to find the garland on the floor and the hooks off. One hook even took a chip of paint with it. We're not talking about heavy garland, just a string of plastic decorative flowers like you buy at Michaels.

Stripped the paint off my wall

While I normally love the Command products, this one--though sturdy--peeled a huge chunk of paint off my wall upon removal. I followed all instructions both when applying and when removing. I'm incredibly disappointed in this product and now have a white rectangular spot on my green kitchen wall with no paint to be found on it.

Great for siding too

Bought these for my mom for her covered porch as she likes to decorate with a wreath etc. They hold perfectly all year in the Northeast weather. Had to replace it finally after 2 years which is impressive. Left no marks. Actually, after taking it off she realized she needed her house pressure washed. I use them on my open deck that is in direct sun. I have to replace mine maybe every 6 to 8 months but this is in direct sun and weather. Much cheaper than siding clips.

Perfect Holiday Window Hooks

These command hooks are perfect for holiday decorations as they don't require holes around the windows and are easily removeable. I've also used them in birthday decorations for my kids and to hang a huge map of the world for the kids. Command products will be our go to product for our upcoming move into an apartment where we won't have the freedom to drill holes into the walls. We are very happy with the product and keep a box of these in our party supply cabinet.

Not for hanging coffee mugs

I bought the two pound hooks to hang my coffee mugs on the cabinet wall next to my coffee maker. After about one month, the hook started to come loose. I had to buy additional strips (assorted sizes and rather expensive) to reattach the hooks. Failed again to the point that my coffee cup fell on the counter and broke. These strips do NOT adhere well to kitchen cabinets.

Just What I Needed

We moved into our new house last August and my husband decided he didn't want any holes in the walls. These hooks are just perfect for hanging all the needlework samplers I have made. The clear hook does not detract from the string/dowel hangers I use. I have had to remove a few, while changing my mind about location, and have not had a problem with the removal.

Strong and Sturdy

I buy Command Clear hooks to use for hanging up Christmas wreaths and for other seasonal wreaths with no worries. This product is very sturdy, strong enough to hold my very heavy, fully decorated wreaths. I love the clear so it doesn't show and people can see my wreaths without seeing a hanger of some sort. I only buy Command brand and recommend this product to anyone who loves to decorate.

Very Disappointed

Bought command hooks to hang our garland (not real) on our walls. We followed directions wiped down walls used alcohol let hang 1 hour then over night the 2nd time to avoid the hooks falling off. Well to our surprise no matter what we did, the hooks keep falling off. very disappointed as they are not inexpensive and the replacement tabs are spendy as well. I will not buy again as they do not work.

Great for big and small uses

I've been using command hooks since 2002 and within the last few years discovered the clear hooks and strips. My kitchen walls are tan and the white strips never looked that great holding things on the walls. I switched to clear hooks and you don't even notice the hook anymore. I even tried to fill in the space between my stove and the hood above by hanging oven mitts and hot pads. I must say they hold much better than I expected! To date, they've been holding those mitts and pads strong for two years! Keep up the great work!

Clock fell off the wall

I bought this product less than a month ago along with a new clock for mu kitchen. I followed the installation directions to the letter, including using alcohol to clean the wall, holding the hooks for 30 seconds, and waiting at least an hour to hang the clock. The hooks were rated for 2 lbs. and it was a light weight plastic clock.

[Rewarded Review] Command Clear Medium Hook

I purchased the set of Command hooks a week ago and just got around to putting one of the hooks up today. I must say I was skeptical at first about these hooks saying it was no way they could hold this wreath. I applied the strip as described on package and then put the hook on my door. I put the wreath on the hook and was amazed how quickly and easily it was to do. Yes the wreath is still hanging and now I cannot wait to start hanging the hooks everywhere in my home. Great product from Command. I love these hooks

I use Command hooks and strips all over my house to hang pictures. So when I decided to hang plates in my dining room to decorate for Christmas, I bought a package of clear Command hooks. I followed the directions, wiping the wall with alcohol and pressing the hook for the suggested time. Then I waited 24+ hours before hanging anything. Some of the hooks fell off during the wait period and the one that I did test a plate on fell off immediately. I'm glad I put a chair under th plate to keep it from breaking. As it is my new decorative plate was chipped.

[Rewarded Review] Caution where you use

The Command medium size hooks have worked great on tile and wood paneling. After one day I was able to use and hang bags in my bathroom (bags full of perfume and lotion). I also used the hooks to hand a hairdryer and curling iron. They worked great. It was a complete disaster on walls (drywall). I tried it in three different locations. The first one fell off in one day without even having anything on it. The second one lasted a week, and again no weight on it yet. The third one fell and took off some paint and drywall and again I didn't even put anything on the hook. Don't use on walls!

What a waste of time!!!

I came here to read the reviews, and thought I couldn't go wrong...so I bought two large packs of medium clear hooks for my daughters room, hoping to hang her favorite jewelry.
