Not a great product

I've gone through four of these in a two-month period and stopped purchasing them. It doesn't take much before the metal separates from the plastic. I was under the 5-pound limit. They are too expensive and the hook needs to be redesigned.

Did nothold broom as shown

Bought this to hold my broom and dustpan as shown. Pulled off the wall twice, money down the drain not to mention scaring the life out of me as the broom fell down the stairway!

Ripped off paint and drywall in my dorm!

I had these hung up in my dorm room. As I was taking them down and one of the pull tabs ripped and I could not get it off the wall. It tore off the paint and a bit of dry wall. I will now be getting charged for the damage it left.

Great idea but falls apart

I have had and been using these for over a year. The hooks come apart way too easy when you are removing the hanging item, ie dustpan or oven mits, off of the hook. Finally took them down to try another Command product.

Fell off the wall after a year

I loved these at first but came home this weekend after having them on my wall for a year, and found three of my pieces of artwork on the floor. The hooks disconnected from the wall and were also laying on the floor. I will not buy these again. One piece of my art was damaged so disappointed that they do not last.

Not as advertised

Bought this to hang a child coat on. Hook broke off. then the pull tab to remove the adhesive broke off. Then I had to Google how to TRY and take the dang thing off the wall. Didn't work, now I have a hole to patch and paint. I think these should be advertised as permanent

Doesn't hold up

Just heard a drop to find this 5 lb hook couldn't hold a 3.6 lb bona floor cleaner. What a disappointment. Whose got to repair my wall???

This was fantastic for my pantry cupboard. My broom and dustpan were always falling over from the corner, and they were about to bonk me on the head--again!

Very Durable!

I was given an anchor to hang on my wall in my room! It is heavy and so I was afraid that the hook would not hold the anchor! I applied the hook on the wall, and it has been holding my anchor for 2+ years! It's amazing, would definitely use this product again!

command wire hook

I bought these a few months ago to hang up my broom and mop in my mudd room. Love the fact that my stuff is out of the way. Also like the idea that I didn't have to drill into my walls. I gave this product 4 stars only because this hook comes on and off and I really don't like that feature at all. Every time I take my broom down it comes off and I have to put the wire hook back in and slide back on over plastic piece. Not fun!!!

Hanging in there!

I needed a window cleaning extension pole with washer & squeegee, kitchen broom with dust pan & garage broom off the garage floor. I decided on a zig zag pattern 2 hooks for longer items & 3 hooks for shorter in a zig zag pattern before placing the placing the Mounting Strips.

Been looking for a hook like this to use for a specific cleaning tool, so glad Command sent me this one to test! Like all of this product line, it's so easy to install, and easy to reposition as needed without marring the surface to which it's been applied. I like the narrow wire hook, as many tools, brooms, etc. do not have large eyelets for hanging - nice to have this alternative.

I just had a new broom closet made in my laundry room. These large wire hangers are just perfect for everything from cordless vacuum cleaners to brooms and dust pans. I purchased this product to hang small frying pans (definitely under 5 lbs.) and two of the four did not hold. Walls were freshly painted and I followed the instructions exactly. My walls were not damaged but the two frying pans were. One was dented and the other the handle is now very loose and will not stay tightened. Needless to say, I now have to purchase two new frying pans.

I have had my broom setting in the corner of my pantry for several years now with no room anywhere else. I was perusing the Command Hook section of Target one day and saw this hook on the rack. My answer!! The hook now proudly displays my broom and dustpan on the wall behind the pantry door without getting dirt on the floor and in my food. YAY!

I recently used these in my new home. They are rated at 3 pounds but I used 4 of them to hang my shoe rack in my closet, held great, even after I filled rhe rack full of shoes (way overloaded the weight rating). It was about a week later that one of them finally pulled lose but the adhesive held strong as it pulled the paint and paper off of the drywall where it was placed. Now that's what I call a great product that definitely exceeded my expectations. I now use Command products to hang and mount everything on my walls. NO HOLES! I would highly recommend all of there products.

Classroom Lifesaver!

I work in a public school district and used large wire command hooks to hold a shoe organizer to the wall. In the pockets of the organizer I keep pencils, scissors, glue, stickers and crafty items on hand! This works out very nicely because if I switch classrooms I can take my organizer with me. The school district is happy as well when we do not have to make permanent changes to the walls:)

Thank Heavens for Command Hooks!

I have a wreath that is decorated with small ceramic angels which I hang over the fireplace in our formal living room. Before Command hooks we used suction cup hooks for this job (and sometimes the hooks let go and down came our wreath - angels and all! BUT, with the Command Wire Hook (we use 2 because of the size of the wreath)we have not had one problem and our angels stay "aloft" all through the holidays.
