Inexpensive solution and good value for what you get

Bought this to use as a fill in mean while at work. We have two kittens and wanted to make sure that we got a feeder with two bowls. The stainless steel bowls are fantastic and easy to take out to clean. Only down side is the timer is not exact but we're okay with it. Defintely worth the money.

Dinner time

Not what I was looking for. The timer has to be set every time. I was hoping to get a ser time, example: 7 am and 7pm. Same time no matter when you fill it. But no way. You have to figure the time yourself, example: I fill it at 3pm set timer for 4 hours to open at 7pm. Then set the second one at 16 hours to open at 7am. Spending too much time getting the correct time set. However, it is quiet open lid.

I have a kitty who likes to eat around 3 a.m. It's easier to feed her than ignore her because she isn't going to be ignored! Initially, she would try getting into the feeder when I put it down with food so I cut the top off of the box it came in and put it inside. Makes it a bit more tamper-proof but doesn't affect the ability for the top to open.

As described

Worked perfectly for when I needed to be away one night, but has also been working nicely for day to day use. It took a minute for one of the cats to get used to the bowls but totally fine within a few meals time.

Good buy

It was a good buy. It was easy to use. Also use it for treats while I’m out.

Extremely inaccurate as far as the timer goes. Picture an old timey kitchen timer where you turn the dial to set it. Now picture the dial you turn is 48 hours for a full turn instead of 60 minutes. The stainless bowls inside are pretty cheap and there’s no bell or sound that plays when it opens. I set ours to go off in nine hours last night and after almost ten, it hadn’t opened.

Life saver

My GSD has IBD. Because of this, he eats four smaller meals a day of 1 cup of food. This is perfect if my house sitters are out during his lunch time.

Perfect for my 3 time a day wet food feeding

I love the convenience of this and my kitty loves the food. I feed a third of a can at each feeding and she wasn’t eating the wet food quickly and I was worried about it sitting around. Plus when we do go out of town, I was asking someone to come three times a day. With this, I feed her the afternoon feeding with a fresh can and then I divide the remaining portions into the two bowls here and add the ice pack. I set the schedule for bedtime and breakfast. She eats the food so quickly and I think it’s because it isn’t refrigerator cold. I don’t know that I would trust the ice pack for 48 hours, but it’s fine for my 18 hours.

Timer is very inaccurate and my cat knows what time it is. This item is also very light and could be easily opened by my cat. My cat has been able to break into other feeders.

Great for cats with sensitive tummies

My rescue cat has been through a lot and finds it hard to eat more than about an ounce of food at a time. She's also hungry and will gorge herself and vomit if I put out more. I used to spend most of my day running back and forth to feed her. This automatic feeder makes my life WAY easier, as I can put out 3 oz of food at a time while making sure she doesn't eat too much and puke. It will also come in handy whenever we're out and need to pay a sitter per visit--I'll be buying a second one to help with that!
