Very solid

We bought the set with 4 stools and filled it out with 2 more. Put together correctly the are very solid and should last a while. Be sure to add felt pads if you are putting on a hard floor.

Good Counter Stools

I bought them but realized after I spent a bit of time putting one together that they were still too short for my counter. It did take some time to put them together, but patience is the key. Overall, if they were the right height, they would have been perfect. Good and sturdy.

These chairs are very sturdy and match well with a table I ordered separately. Despite the economical price the quality of the chair is great.

color is much dark than the picture shown

Buy 2 set total of 4 chairs. Good with Nice Style. But not what I expect for the color, it's much dark than the picture shown.

Everything went together great. Comfortable and looks great. Was packaged very well and was easy to assemble. Highly reccomend.

Just didn't work for us. The dimensions didn't really work with our kitchen island and the back was too high and too decorative for me. Just a personal preference but others may like 'em.

Cheaper but look nice

Decent price so didn't really expect extremely high quality. The chair break easily. We have ceramic flooring and the kids knocked 2 of the chairs over on two separate occasions, both times parts of the wood on the chairs broke off. The fabric stains easily. We put chair leg pads on the legs of the chairs because of the awful noise they make when sliding around the floor since they are just all wood. We haven't had them a year yet and will likely need to replace 2 of them soon!

Imperial Counter Stools

Very attractive. I wish they would have come assembled. I wanted to glue the dowels during assembly to make them extra secure and sturdy but there is way too much space and there is nothing for the glue to secure to. We have had them for about a month. So far, so good. We ordered 8 stools for our counter height table and only use four stools regularly. I paid about $*** each for these chairs. I feel that is a fair price, but I do not feel they are worth more than that. I also scotch-guarded the fabric as they are used in my kitchen.

Nice stools

These are very nice stools and look great at my kitchen counter. I do wish that they looked more like the picture though, with lighter cushions. The fabric is a bit more brown than I was hoping for (cream), but they still match my color scheme and look very nice. The wood is also just a little off as well, the stain is definitely brown but very dark. I was hoping it would be more "black" like the picture.

Imperial Counter Stool Review

I am a repeat customer with Overstock, and have always been pleased with the results. These stools are great! I really liked the look of them online, but based my purchase solely on what other customers had to say in their reviews (both counter and bar height) of these stools. It was due to the reviews that I was comfortable buying furniture I could not try first. I've had back surgery, so comfort and stability were paramount. As noted in other reviews of this item, the directions were vague and there were some minor scratches (easily rectified by a furniture crayon). Also, the manufacturer could have used a sturdier box for shipment. I would recommend these stools to anyone who is as picky as I am. : )

Imperial Stools

These stools are very light weight. That's a good thing in my family. Previously we had the heavy iron chairs which scratched my wood floors. I put the felt on the bottom of these chairs, and they move very easily. So far, they are very sturdy for my three kids. The kids think they are very comfortable- they love the back cushions. I wish they would show the back of the chairs because I was pleasantly surprised. The fabric shows through the back. Also, the fabric is easily cleaned. They are a perfect height for my granite kitchen island, and my kids use them all the time. The chairs had a few slight nicks- a furniture pen did the trick. I did have one trouble with one of the chairs, and Overstock was very fast in resolving the issue. Assembly was a little bit of a pain- by the fourth chair we were pros. Love, so far. Only time will tell if they hold up in this household.
