[Rewarded Review] Happy with the purchase

My family shares the chair. It works great for the men but I am only 5'3" so I like a little something under my feet. The chair is comfortable and operates well. It is a handsome chair. After about 9 months the leather started to separate from the stitching. I called Living Styles Office Furniture (800) 379-9773 and was greeted by a very kind and helpful customer service agent who sent a new seat.

I've had the chair right around two months now and the padding feels like it's already giving out, my elbow may as well just be resting on plastic, and my rear end isn't doing much better. This says it is meant for people up to 350 pounds and I'm about 120 pounds lighter than that. I suspect the cushions I got with this chair aren't even actually Serta, because this would be my 4th chair with Serta cushions and the past 3 were great.

Very Uncomfortable

Chair looks very cushiony, but feels as if you are sitting on a board all day. I am 5'5" and at the lowest setting my feel will not touch the floor, Nice overall quality, not difficult to put together but concerning how short the screws are that hold it together. Just extremely uncomfortable. After sitting in it all day my hips, knees, back and neck are screaming in pain.

Questionable comfort

The chair is definitely roomy, but not as comfortable as I would have liked. For myself, the back is comfortable, but the seat not so much. For my husband, who is the main user of this chair, the seat is comfortable, but he needed additional lumbar support. He actually had significant back pain after sitting in this chair for a while. We purchased an additional lumbar support pillow, and now the chair seems to be working well for him.

Pretty comfortable. It’s big and wide and very plush. Assembly was easy, does require 2 people when getting the back on, as the back is a little heavy. No need for extra tools as everything comes assembled. Instruction were in a weird spot though, so be sure to really look for them.

I regret buying this expensive chair. I bought it for my new work from home job. It was incredibly hard to put together. It's big enough and well cushioned, but the ergonomics are all wrong. The seat leans back and there is no way to push it forward. There is TOO much cushion under the knees, so it pushes my knee up and has actually turned a perodic knee pain into a chronic one. I'm stuck with this expensive chair that feels bad. I hate it. I wish I could return it.

[Rewarded Review] Comfortable, luxurious all-leather office chair

This is an attractive, comfortable, luxurious, all leather chair that will complement any office. It is intended for big and tall people; however, I am an average person in build and height. It didn't quite fit until the elevation cylinder settled a tad below its lowest setting. Now it fits just fine, with my feet flat on the floor. I would not recommend it, however, for anyone shorter than 5'7" and this needs to be pointed out to prospective purchasers. The assembly was not difficult.

Assembled easily and is holding up well...

It's now been over a year since I bought this chair, and it is holding up surprisingly well. This is probably my 7th or 8th office chair, and they all seem to last 2-3 years, then break in one way or another. This one is in better shape at this point than most of the others. I'll try and report back in another year or so. I did need to add an additional cushion to the seat as I've done to all the others after a while . However, I'm 6'2" and 225 lbs, so YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). Also, it seemed a little pricey. I read somewhere that with all the people working from home now, there was a great surplus of office furniture. That would suggest prices should be coming down, rather than going up as they are. UPDATE 1-8-2024 The chair is still holding up well, much better than most at this point. It looks just as good as it did the first day I got it! Most of the others would have been in the junkyard by now. Pretty impressed!

My son put the chair together Thank God for him it’s very comfortable and fits perfectly. I love the way it feels the color is perfect. I had an executive chair that costed 800.00 it lasted for 15years had to get a new one. This is far less money and better because its not so big and movess better.

Good for office work

This is very good because of its ergonomic design. The architecture is strong and it is also fanciful. I use this type of chair both at home and in my office. The reduced price motivated me to purchase it. I strongly rec6 it to others.

I have used multiple Serta chairs, your pricing convinced me to purchase this chair. It is easy to assemble and very comfortable. I am a disabled vet and find Serta the most comfortable with multiple back surgeries, artificial hip and knee and other injuries. The wrong chair can be very uncomfortable.

Useless warranty on poor quality upholstery

I purchased this chair a few years ago from Office Depot, and the vinyl portions of the upholstery are all flaking off. Serta doesn't stand behind it, and neither does Office Depot. Apparently the upholstery is only covered by a one year warranty, so that 10 years they advertise covers what?!? Maybe the base only.

Avoid the chair,

I bought this chair about a year ago and about a week after the "1 year warranty" the seat plate gave out. The tilt mechanism gave out and the chair will not hold the tilt position. Tru Innovations, who handled the warranty request, had me sending information via email for over a week and then tells me its out of warranty. One of the first pieces of information sent was the purchase receipt. Like others have noted the chair made squeaking noises when moved. Avoid the hassle buy another chair its not worth the money

Just finished putting the chair together and was very pleased with the ease of assembly. The instructions appear to have been written/edited by someone in the U.S.A.; thus my experience with the instructions is A+.

[Rewarded Review] This Chair is Wonderful!!

Bought this chair to replace one that was twice the price. The second i sat down i knew i was right about my purchase. The chair is comfortably perfect in both size and thickness. The leather feels soft and cool and the rock back has the perfect tension. I would recommend this chair for anyome who wants a great deal for a great chair!!

Desk Chair for Den

Specifically searched for a desk chair for my den for both my taller husband and myself. This is the chair. Love the color (Grey) and it is cushioned perfectly. Easily rolls on the rollers and also swivels which helps me go from computer to craft table or anywhere in the room. It is adjustable for height. Also looks stylish with my decor. Happy with choice.

[Rewarded Review] Underwhelming for the price

Overall it’s a decent chair. Assembly wasn’t terrible, however who ever designed the way you put the back on this chair needs to rethink some things. The chair looks nice aside for some blemishes that were on the plastic part of the arms that aren’t noticeable. It’s not as comfortable as I was imagining it would be, but it IS comfortable. Overall I’d say this chair is about $100 too much for the quality it is.

Chair is fine, assembly was a nightmare

Bought this for the owner of the company. Assembled, the chair is fine but squeaks/creaks very loudly when he moves around.

Needed avery strong chair for my home office now that I work from home. I weigh 300 lbs so wanted a sturdy chair that would be comfortable and durable. I have had the chair for about 6 months. So far, so good. No issues with quality or delivery. My sons even spin in it regularly even though I ask them not to, it's holding up just fine.

Received chair as a gift from family for my home office. They purchased it a few weeks ahead of time so my window of returning this uncomfortable chair has closed. It is all mine now - sadly.
