Cost effective purchase

We are going to replace our second one at the 3 year mark. Handle difficult to retract and extend. Yes it will retract with manual manipulation of the pins.

Great cooler - a couple of wishes.

This does what it is supposed to do. It keeps things cold - for a long time. Also, the layout lets you maximize the room even with the bump out for the wheels. Two wishes: A large handle across the top to help with lifting and some kind of tab to help release the top from the suction, it can be a fight to open.

If you need a durable cooler that’s not flimsy , This is it. It’s not to big , but just big enough to put all ur essentials in . Keeps drinks nice and cold. Great for a game day tailgate or a summer cookout.

Garbage that’s almost great

This cooler is so nice, except for the infuriating handle. It is extremely difficult to extend sometimes; Coleman cheaped out on some part of the mechanism (or maybe its alignment tolerances) and it sometimes takes minutes of struggling to extend. It just refuses to unlock. If the handle weren’t so frustrating, this would easily be a 5-star product worth its price, but as things are today you might as well buy some no-name clone from a random cheap brand.

Junk!

Had it for one year. The drain plug broke after first use and the pull handle jams and only pulls out halfway. Absolute Junk!

5 days ya right!!

i bought this cooler the ice doesn't last a weekend much less 5 days!! it was in the shade and it was only 85 degrees out. Its definitely not worth the money DON'T Buy it

I’m not sure what kind of testing the did …

When it said it holds ice for 5 days I was sold….But I was very Disappointed when I put about 30 cans in and 30 lbs. of ice cubes… And 3 days later when I opened it up it was all water no ice… at 54 degree water….. in the garage with no sun on it…. Not Happy…

I purchased this model two years ago. Within a year, the extendable handle started to jam.

Coleman 5 day cooler

Since I never received this item not very happy . I order two unfortunately I didn’t see that they were from two different companies I got my money back from one order. the one I paid 101.99. I received back but the other one that I paid 79.99. I didn’t. I called and even wrote to supplier I didn’t even get any response back. I ended up having to pay even more money to get two other coolers right from Coleman. I would not recommend this especially since I didn’t get refunded so not only was I out a cooler I needed but my money too

No I’m not happy with this item since I never got it I did get refunded my money of 101.99 but in the same time after waiting longer then what was told especially since not receiving it I had to go right to Coleman and pay a higher price. To get the same two 5 day coolers I had ordered. From this company. But thankfully Coleman had the 2 new coolers at my door in just 3 days time and I didn’t pay any extra for faster delivery.

Needs modification.

Made to haul a lot, great size, idea to have a wheeled base is a plus! But not built to last. The wheels are fine, but the metal bar that slides under the cooler to connect the wheels is cheaply constructed. Cannot find a replacement for that piece.

Dissatisfied

Bought it for the 5 day hard cooler but ice melts really quick! Feel dissatisfied with the purchase.

Love this cooler just the right size. I keep it in my car during the Spring and Summer months.

Do Not Buy!

Bought this thinking it would be an easy way to carry some drinks woth the wheels and the pull handle. I was not concerned with the life of the ice as I did not expect it to last beyond a day or so. The problem is the handle is so cheap that it does not pull out enough to be able to comfortably pull the cooler. Very cheap contruction. Unfortunately I did not use it for a while and was well beyond the date that I could return the item. Just wated my money!

It doesn't hold ice for 5 days. Somehow rain gets inside when the lid is closed.

Keep looking folks. This isn’t the one.

This cooler sucks

Love this cooler! It has worked wonderful! Lasted several days in the extreme heat. I have had one for years now and I'm just having to replace it due to the tires getting worn out. We use it weekly durning the summer.

Love how this cooler has wheels. It was very durable and easy to maneuver. The cooler is plastic and insulated. Great for cookouts and to take to the beach. Holds ice well!
