Very disappointed!

Product that arrived was dirty and appeared to have been used or returned. Parts were missing. Receiver plate on latch was missing.

Cools well

Don’t know about longevity but it cools well, temperature in cooler was -1 Celsius exterior temperature in shade was 20.

I haven’t used it yet for the purpose I bought it, however I did plug it up the day I received it for three days and it got cold but not as cold as I would like it to be.

disappointing

We had a Koolatron years back and were excited to buy another one. I'm not sure what has changed at their company but this new one we ordered is made of cheap, thin plastic and looks like it was snapped together by someone who doesn't care about the quality of their workmanship. Super disappointing.

Reliable portable cooler/warmer

This Koolatron P95 cooler was purchased to replace our old P27 that served over 30 years as a cooler for our family’s camping trips and road trips, and as a warmer for carrying prepared food. This unit has better hinges and latch, and a little more space. We are looking forward to a new long and reliable experience.

NOT COOL

Not getting cold enough, fan is not turning fast enough to circulate cold air. I’m very disappointed in Koolatron , I thought they made quality products. It will be returned

Koolatron 31L 12v Cooler Warmer Travel Fridge

Fridge does not get anywhere near cold enough even after having it running overnight empty.

I’m taking this on the road in 3 weeks so will update my listing after. Cooling and heat settings both work. Cooler top lock is cheaply made and you need two hands to slide it to lock/unlock. Bought a universal A/C adapter that didn’t work so had to order OEM part, which may not arrive until after I leave. So if you need the A/C adapter right away you may be out of luck.

Not good Cooler

I haven't even plugged it in yet and I can already tell it's poorly constructed. I have to put my full body weight on it to hold down the lid while sliding the slide lock into place. While sliding it into place I have to push it in as hard as possible other wise it will not latch and it will pop off the bottom. Buyers remorse already. Thinking I'm going to return it.

A very nice unit which I would buy again. It may be a bit overpriced but still good value. The split opening is handy and two compartment dividers are included, but I wish one was large enough to subdivide the full depth instead of just half. Quality control was somewhat lacking. The cover gasket had been pinched and distorted over one half inch by trapping the cover retainer strap. Also, the power plug from the unit was not placed into its exit groove properly - easily corrected.

Cooler was returned within a week

Unit was in very bad quality at delivery.

koolatron Cooler

!t worked well when it was in an air conditioning house! Was keeping a temperature of 2% to 5% Celsius. But if when I put it outside in a warmer condition, It went up to 19%! ( I have a thermometer) you cannot depend on it at all !!!! It is suppose to act as a fridge when turned on its side. My fridge at home is at 5% . This electric cooler was a big disappointment!

Great for food

Used it a few times and seems to work fine. It did frost up quickly on the inside at the cooling part, possibly very moist air. This happened when I was testing it empty. I dont really know if this is normal or if it affects its ability to continue to cool effectively for long term use. For travelling and overnight use it worked good, it is not the same as putting beer in ice water but for foods it was great.

Exactly as shown. Works well and wise to buy the adapter for 110. Light to carry and keeps food cold in the vehicle. Strongly recommend this product

Great cooler

Good quality. Haven't officially used it on a trip yet, but keeps cool. Should be great for camping trips. Wish it was slightly bigger.

Poor Quality doesn’t perform well

Does not chill as good as my old cooler unit I had before. Returned it and ordered another brand of cooler. Was missing parts when opened the box

I recommend with reservations. Overall it will keep your food cold while it is running. However, if it sits in the car while it is not running, it quickly loses the coolness. It is not insulated like a normal cooler. There are sharp edges on the fastener and doors which you have to watch out for. We have used it on one car trip so far. We also got the adapter so we could plug it in at night in the hotel room. It makes a fairly loud hum.
