The grill does a great job of heating up and grilling. Great to sear meat. Love the 3 burners. the downside is the water tray. That is a huge pain. Im not sure what happens if you don't fill with water

Save your money!

My husband and I purchased this in May 2024 to use when camping. We used it twice and then the third time we used it we couldn’t get it to light. Neither the igniter or with a lighter. Thought maybe it was due to being windy outside. Went to use it a fourth time on a beautiful sunny day and still would not light. $200 down the drain! Now Walmart says it can’t be returned. Don’t waste your money.

Love this little grill

I’m a big fan of these grills because of the portability. They work well and I love that I can use it at home or take it with me on trips. Great one to have if you enjoy tailgating. Would buy again.

Oh. Wow. Surprise. Surprise! Love this!

Purchases for personal use. This Grill will save you so much money in propane. You can just heat up half of it, just the inside ring, the outer ring. Nice quality, very attractive, and space saving.

Very versatile and easy to use.

It’s a little hard to clean but once I started to clean while it was still hot it’s now a breeze. Husband usually is the grilled in the family but I can honestly say I can turn out some really good meals. I ordered the griddle and the side to allow a pan or pot. I highly recommend.

Coleman Roadtrip grease trap

The grease trap is a crazy mess, I've owned several grills but never one where you have to add water in the bottom of the grill. Cleaning up after using it a few times is nothing I want to do again, this is a very bad design and should be recalled. If anyone wants one, I'm selling mine.

We love our Coleman RoadTrip! We take it everywhere! We really love the ease of portability, it really makes it an easy choice for us to take it places such as beaches, parks, on trips, weekend getaway’s. Especially when you can just fold it flat and wheel it to your destination and it does fold flat and wheel with ease. This little grill also cooks well, the heat distribution is excellent! It’s also easy to clean, you can take it apart or wipe it down. I appreciate the little propane tanks, they are so convenient.

Good grill, bad latch

Great grill, very portable. However, the latch is very weak and the grill grates keep on popping out whenever you wheel it around. would be much better if there was a substantial latch

Good and bad

I like how the grill cleans up. It has a tray you put water in before you start cooking. When you’re done and things have cooled down, simply dispose of the water/grease combo. What I don’t like is that it’s hard to get the propane can threaded properly. You don’t want to force things and get the threads crossed, so it takes patience.

Pay attention to the reviews

This grill could be great but has a major design flaw and is poorly assembled. The clip and metal screws that keep the tray from freely sliding out fell out on one side. Now the tray won’t stay in when I fold it up. Other issue is the griddle you can purchase separately sits high and you can’t close the lid if using it. The positive to it is the burner and burner control. It could be an amazing grill but as of now I would not purchase it again or recommend it. Which I hate saying cause I’ve always loved my Coleman grills prior to this. This one happening to be the most expensive as well and I can’t find the parts to repair it.

Double trouble!

Is this grill only for use with the pricy 1lb Coleman canisters??? I've had nothing but problems with the adapter hose and 20 lb tank. I've bought a new hose and swapped tanks, still have issues lighting and low flame, flame goes out when trying to use more than one burner! It must be the regulator. Problem is, I'm a week past the Walmart 90 day Return policy, and if I use the Coleman 3 year warranty, I have to eat the shipping cost! Can you just send me the regulator and I'll change it myself?

It feeds me with a smile

Good quality product. My previous ROAD TRIP, a two burner model, would out perform my three burner propane large grill. Faster cooking. Quicker warm up time. Easy clean up. Easy to set up and take down. This grill travels well in the basement storage in the motorhome and also goes to closer events in our SUV.

The Road trip grill is a versatile and reliable choice for camping and tailgating. It offers solid performance with even heating and a spacious cooking surface. Its compact, foldable design makes it easy to transport and set up. The grill heats quickly and provides consistent temperatures, ideal for grilling burgers, steaks, and veggies. However, it may require frequent refueling for extended use, and its size might be limited for larger groups. Overall, it’s a great option for convenient outdoor cooking with dependable results.

Amazing grill

Awesome! Easy to clean with a few paper towels, heats up quickly cooks food quickly. I have this instead of a large grill. Ive had it for 2 year and absolutely zero problems.

Poor design, pressure regulator not replaceable.

I use this grill for tailgating. The pressure regulator failed and unfortunately the regulator is an assembly with the three gas volume controls and igniter. A spare assembly is not available and according to Coleman the grill must be scrapped.

Love it so far

I bought this to satisfy innate caveman desires of cooking meat on a fire after a successful wild beef hunt in the meat aisle.

super hot! and flimsy

even at nearly the lowest setting this grill is still at about 450 degrees. The shelves are pretty flimsy, within one trip the retaining spring clips all popped off. I'm glad this was on sale otherwise I would pretty upset.

Just what we ordered

This is perfect for my husband who is in a wheelchair. It it the right height, lightweight for easy mobility. Cooks very well. We did hook it up to a propane tank instead of the small bottles We love it and I would recommend for anyone with a small family.

Perfect

Perfect for my padio. Still does a big job while using less space. Easy to clean and great that it's foldable and portable. Love the side tables that slide in and away.
