Love these!

My daughter loved these! They were a little bigger and heavier than I expected, but that just made them even more useful for holding up big books.

Unique book ends

Love these. Only thing is they came wrapped in a plastic bag but were covered in dust when I took them out. Needed washing. Weird.

Antique coat comes off

The coating comes off on my hands. I am returning them.

Bought these as a gift. Receiver loves them, they are heavy, substantial construction, useful for what they were meant for and really good quality. Doesn't hurt that they are awesomely cute too!

Catchy Design

These bookends have a very catchy design for a library or a single bookshelf. Unfortunately, they are quite large and cumbersome, detracting from the cleaver design. The hefty size also takes up quite a lot of space on the bookshelf leaving much less room for books. If they were made to be about 2/3 of the current size they would be very attractive and much more practical! They are definitely heavy enough to hold up a large number of books, but that is not the only consideration.

These bookends are nicer in person than they were

I bought them for a clients' wall unit and I am very excited to put them in her room. They look very expensive and I an so sure they will love them as much as I do.

Unique Bookends

I received the well packaged bookends in a timely manner. One of the figures had become detached from the bookend but it was easily fixed with cement glue. The construction is heavy duty and I like the weight/feel and size. These are perfect to secure larger books like dictionaries or even old encylcopedias.
