This is two separate peices. First you slide on the pipe fitting that the spout screws into. My old delta assembly is all one piece and sits flush to the wall. This assembly does not work with the joint in the installed pipes. Because it is two separate peices, it sits 2 inches away from the wall. Disappointed with this purchase and this design. Also be aware that if you run into this problem that they'll have you pay shipping to return. 15$ shipping to return is too high! I carefully measured for what I needed and if this product had more information on how it actually goes on I would not have purchased.

Looks great, even though the other matte black fixtures are from another brand. looks very 'clean industrial'.
Short and fat. Not what I was expecting. Also made of hard plastic material
The spout is plastic, the wall plate is metal though. Did not know that when I bought it, but it looks nice and the style is right so I think we’ll keep it. I like the way the water comes out in multiple streams. Feels ever so slightly fancy. It was too short for our plumbing so I’ll have to adjust that, but that’s just bad luck, not a knock against the I part.

We didn’t end up using this because I thought it was shorter than we needed so I returned it. It was a very good quality though but just not the right fit in our shower.
Needed a clean looking spout for my wall mount tub filler. This worked perfectly!
The rest of our shower fixtures are the Kohler Purist line, but I couldn't stomach paying over $200 just for a tub spout. Yes, this one is plastic vs. metal and bulkier than the Purist, but it has clean lines and matches the rest of our fixtures just fine.
