Medium size person

This chair is wonderful. Shipping was fast and overall it is exactly what was described. My only complaint is that the back of the chair sort of pushes you forward and the rounded part between the seat and the back sort of does the same thing. I just constantly felt like I was leaning forward and it put pressure on the back of my legs. It might be because I'm a slightly bigger guy. If I sat straight up and arched my back and leaned into the back of the chair I felt better balanced but there's no way I would ever sit that way comfortably. Probably fine if you are a slightly smaller framed person. It is extremely well made, easy to put together and it held me firmly. I never ever felt like it would ever tip or sink. I love the design and will look for something like it with a different back. I will say the buttons are slightly uncomfortable and there's not a lot of padding but I still liked the chair for a bar chair. It would not be one that I would sit in for long tho.

Great looking chairs!

We have 5 of these white bar stools in our kitchen and they are great! Hayneedle was the best price out of anyone I found for this item. Had one issue with one of the chairs missing hardware, but they fixed the issue immediately and are shipping the hardware. Also, the chairs arrived early which was great.

Pretty Bar Stools, but Concerns over Long-Term Reliability

I purchased these bar stools in red for my daughter's new kitchen. They are very pretty but when my husband put them together, the means of securing the seat to the pole (four very short bolts) does not seem all that sturdy. So far, in sitting on it, there have not been any problems but we are wondering what will happen with long term use.

Cheap upholstery

These chairs are very easy to put together, but they are very cheaply made. I have had these chairs for a week and the buttons on the chairs are already loose. The foam under the seat is also very thin, dont sit for very long on this! One chair already has the cushion flattened and half the buttons raised and loose.

Chairs

I love the design of the chair and the colors. The only problem I have experienced is the buttons pop off of the chair on the seat part. I contacted hayneedle regarding this problem and they happily took care of the problem, I have been refunded for the defective chair and purchased another chair. Unfortunately another one of the chairs is losing its buttons. I am certain though they will help me out with this problem as well.

Better than expected

Easy to put together and sharp looking. I like the plastic rim between the bottom of the chair and the floor which keeps the floor from getting scratched. The price was embarassing low, such that if it fails in a year or so, it's inexpensive enough to just buy new ones. Walmart has a winner on this one.

Sleek & Contemporary - Must Have!

I love these chairs!! Chairs arrived early with all parts. They were easy to put together. They are sturdy and well made. Really heavy with large base. They look even better in person. Will definitely recommend these to anyone. I'm going to order 4 more.

Great Item!!

I LOVE this stool! I teach stained glass at a junior college and, because I'm disabled, I cannot stand at the worktable and supervise the students. For that reason, I bought this stool. Now, I can sit at the height of the worktable and see everything that the students are doing and can instruct them as they work. I bought the orange stool, because it's my favorite color, and the color was spot on! It's also very comfortable to sit on and I can sit for hours. I went from teaching for 45 minutes max, on my feet, to 3 1/2 hours with the stool.
