Quality bookshelf exactly as described. Very attractive. A rich, dark brown. Sturdy. Each piece carefully wrapped and clearly labeled. Instructions a breeze to follow. Ordered two and assembled both in under an hour. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Paint streaked and scratched. I would give it no stars if possible.

Great quality bookcase. Of all the ladder styles I looked at across multiple websites, this had the nicest overall design, and Home Depot had the best price. It is solid wood, very sturdy, color is somewhere between the dark and light photos shown. Assembly is a little tricky to ensure the holes line up, but it’s doable with one person. I’m considering buying another.

Not apparent in the listing, the left and right beams...

Not apparent in the listing, the left and right beams on the side of the shelf each come in two parts which tend to bend with weight. I was hoping for something that looked and felt sturdier but otherwise it looks good.

Perfect for kitchen too!

I bought this for a tiny kitchen in our apt. Easy to assemble, good quality wood, perfect for closet overflow of spices, boxed dry goods, and some nice plants on top shelf. Design is excellent and bc of this found it optional in needing to attach to wall. Happy customer.

Measurement for width is inaccurate

The shelf may have looked good, but it was 5/8th inch wider than the measurement for width listed, so did not fit in my 25 inch space. Very disappointed.

Nice in picture but not well made

In the picture, this shelving unit looked exactly like what I was looking for. When it came, and I put it together, it looked cheap and flimsy. It scuffs easily and the wood cracked where the screws were placed. I almost never write a negative review but I have to say I would not recommend this at all.

Missing parts

Irritated because on shelf bracket is missing the housing insert for the screw. Will try customer service to see if can get pieces sent but was looking forward to getting shelf put together today!

Love it!

I bought two of these shelves -they are exactly what I wanted! They do feel very solid and were easy to put together. The only down side is that they aren't perfectly straight, so there is a gap when the two shelves are next to each other. It's not very noticable, and I'm sure that they could be adjusted to be straight, but I didn't have the will to figure it out.

I didn't read any of these reviews before purchasing this shelf and I'm glad I didn't. I had not one problem getting it. Putting it together just took a little longer but when I put it up in am obsessed!!! I love it!!! Exactly what I wanted!!! I'm ordering another one right now

Bad color description and wood leg was warped

The color is Linen White (which was written on the packing slip but not the website). The color is basically cream and looks old / dirty next to white baseboards. The leg was also warped...not sure how much it would affect the functionally since I never put it together once I saw the color.
