Heavy rains and not one drop in tent

A friend of mind brought this temp camping. There was 5 of us and we comfortably with cots, we’re able to stay dry, protected and had a great time during heavy rains over night. I was so impressed that I commented that I was going to go home and write this review. I will buy this same tent soon.

Great tent so far

easy set up for such a large tent. only had 1 use but so much better than our dome - we can standup and have plenty of space! it didn't rain on our trip but the rainfly did help keep some heat in for our chilly weekend.

Really solid tent

I love this tent! It was really easy to set up in the dark with a headlamp. I used it for solo camping at an event and there was plenty of room for me, a cot and a chair. Our campground got really windy and a lot of dome tents faltered, one even broke its poles but my Core 4-person tent was solid. I didn't even have the guy lines out. My only complaint is the tent is fairly see-thru. If you're changing at night with the light on, you will definitely be on display. Take down was easy and the bag expands to accommodate even just stuffing everything back in without folding. The pockets inside are thoughtful and the gear loft doesn't sag. Plenty of ventilation during the day but nights in the mid 50s were cold, I'll pack a better sleeping bag next time. I am completely happy with this tent, I wish I could've spent more than 2 days in it.

Multi-Season Cozy Tent

I was finally able to get this tent ordered, and we set it up this season. It has been amazing, we have two queen size double air mattresses and other gear. It is great to see Core adding more tent sizes for this full fly option! They're the only ones I have seen full fly on the market now! We went from the LL Bean King Pines from quite a few years back, to testing a few different tents and falling in love with Core. I might buy a 2nd one to have as a spare.

Quality built tent for the money! Heavy poles and braces. Rain fly coverage is perfect for staying dry.

Absolutely love this tent

After having nothing but Coleman tent after Coleman tent failures I was almost ready to stop camping all together. When I found this I was very skeptical at first but I am so happy that we have purchase this tent! We are a family of six with three dogs and the first time out of using our new tent we are in absolute love with the outdoors again. Initially when opening the box you could feel the quality of the materials. The heavy duty steel poles with cable instead of elastic running through them took me buy total surprise. Even the fiberglass poles are easily triple the thickness of any other tent I have ever owned.

Would not recommend, but not terrible.

We comfortably had four children on one side and a queen size mattress on the other. Not really room for luggage beyond that but about what we expected. We did get rain on our trip and there was water dripping from the roof in a couple spots and water puddles on the floor. We packed up and went home a day early because sleeping bags were wet. The fly fit extremely tightly. The zipper was decent quality but a little tough to manage.

Great, spacious tent!

Great spacious tent, esp for tall folks like us. Tent stayed dry despite VERY dewy mornings and the afternoon rain soaked ground. Fairly easy set up. No complaints. Hope we can find the straight wall add on - it would be nice in case it ever did rain. Love the bag it came with so packing it up and storing it is easy as well.

Worst tent I've ever had

The mesh ceiling and too short of a fly combine to make it a wind tunnel. That might be OK if you only camp in the summer. It is not waterproof. We are on week 3 of use. It repelled water at first but not any more. We have another month planned and are shopping for a good tent. The one thing it does do well is stand up in the wind. I would say it's a summer only tent. Useless for us.

14x10 with full rain fly

Just put up to see how big it was. Easy to put up with 1 person. Havent put it up with rainfly yet which may pose alittle more difficulty but I think it will be fine.. tent is huge and cant wait to go camping..

We did a lot of research before purchasing the Core straight wall 10x14 tent. Our decision was based on the size, quality and height…and with it not considered an “instant” tent, we felt it was very simple to set up. It’s very roomy!

Roomy and waterproof

Used it for a Christmas camping trip. Rained for 3 days straight - not a drop! I planned use 4 cans of waterproofing spray, but ran out of time. Still bone dry! Lots or head and floor space, 2 person setup was not bad, faster next time. Don't have the patience to roll neat enough to use factory bag, so put we put it in a big duffel. Very satisfied.

Just what we are looking for!!

This tent has everything I’ve been looking for. 2 doors, full fly, no-see-um screen, bathtub floor amongst many other things. Competitive pricing was also a bonus. I will probably upgrade a few things in the future (better stakes, reflective guy lines and add some lighting) but for this price I could not beat it. Hope this helps those looking for quality without breaking the bank.

We love our tent

We've had our tent for several years now. No issues other than the minor damages we've caused. Definitely recommend.

Roomy and we’ll designed.

First thing I noticed was the quality of the carry bag. I have used many tents over the years, and very few have ever padded the bag for protection. The carry straps could be a little shorter, though. I bought this particular tent for the full rainfly with zippered window openings. I set it up myself, it was fairly easy for one person. Easy to follow instructions, as well as easy to figure out. One thing for you to consider is the window openings on the rainfly are either open or closed. I will most likely use some paracord to hold them half open using the existing loops. Can hardly wait to break it in at the Smoky Mountains next month. I was also able to repack it the first time. Seems like a great tent.
