Purchased two and one package the contents are totally demolished. Although I a not understanding how. Shipping package perfect shape as well as the product box. Everything inside seems to be in a million pieces. So, this had to be sent from store like this! Unable to show but the sound of broken glass says it all

good plates

I was looking to upgrade from cheap plastic and knowing most patterns dont last long I chose to go with pure whitr plates. They are great for both everyday and more formal occasions. They have held up well to use and abuse from my children, one of whom has a condition that causes him to knock things over all the time. As long as they are not being thrown at the floor these do not break. We have lost a couple of plates from them being thrust towards the the floor, all others have been dropped from as high as 6 feet without breaking on the bare concrete floor of our kitchen.

Best dinnerware purchase I've ever made

I bought this set many years ago. I thought I might need extra dishes. What I found out after years of using these, that no matter what other set I use, I can always use these to go with them. I currently have a floral set of dinnerware with a white base, I use these to accompany them and they are perfect. they are virtually indestructible. however I did find out if you drop them on a tile floor they will break. but I think anything would break on a tile floor. this is probably by far the best purchase I've ever made in dinnerware. I've had these dishes for probably close to 30 years. you can't go wrong with them.

A long-term investment

We have enjoyed using Corelle Winter Frost White dinnerware for a quarter century. For our family of ten, and for hosting large extended family events it has proved itself durable while we enjoyed its simple beauty. It was important to us that it should store compactly in the cabinet, and that we should be able to replace a piece if it breaks. Both are true. We bought this set as a gift for some friends.

Winter Frost is perfect

Winter Frost 50 piece. Perfect replacement and upgrade for a twenty five year old set. Fits nicely in small, compact cabinet. I could fit the whole set in the dishwasher. Pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend.

Started with Corelle 45 years ago; I'm back again!

As a young bride, I received Corelle dishes with the gold butterflies (?) around the permiter. That was 45 years ago. I became more "sophisticated" and switched to crockery, stoneware, porcelain, and china. My hands forgot I was sophisticated and they called for a return to the tried and true. I gave away my beautiful dishes and bought the Corelles in sparkling white. I couldn't be happier. Easier to load in the dishwasher, looks good with food on it, stacks compactly, and my hands are forever grateful. My friends agree.... we're all going back to the OG of dinnerware. Glad it's still around!!!

Corelle service for 8

We purchased this set as our current service for 6 was starting to wear after 10 years. The design was fading, and the edges of the plates were feeling rough as the glaze was worn. Our biggest must had been for a dessert plate and a bread & butter plates in the service. This set fit the bill. We were able to purchase some bowls we wanted that matched the set at a local retailer. Biggest negative was that the pieces are very thin as compared to our prior set and bland. And some of the plates are a bit wobbly looking when stacked. We chose the white as none of the other Corelle sets would go with our kitchen. The set is very serviceable, and the price was great. We will continue to keep our eyes out for a better Corelle set that meets our must haves and is of a better thickness and design. But till then this set is very good. I would recommend it.

Considering buying second (and third) set

Arrived on time, was exactly what I was looking for, and reasonable price. While I bought as a gift for Angel Tree senior citizen, it was nice enough that I would buy, again, for a relative. I am considering replacing all my mother’s (heavy) mismatched dishes with these!!! Will be easier to clean and handle!

Smart purchase

I like this dish ware. The dinner plates, bowls, and lunch plates are smaller and lighter than others on the market, which suits me fine. I do not need heavy, large plates. These are easy to handle. I purchased two sets of them as I was so pleased with one and needed additional.

A Disappointment inTexas

I was putting the Corelle dishes away in the cupboard, and one of the smaller plates slipped away from my hand, fell and broke into pieces. I had bought a similar set about 25 years ago, and one of the dinner plates slipped from my hand. It fell to the floor, and it didn’t break, it wasn’t even chipped! That why I decided to get another set. And I was going to get pasta bowls and serving bowls, but now I’ve changed my mind.

reliable and consistent with the brand

The color winter frost is a true crisp bright white. True to their reputation, Corelle offers quality dinnerware that lasts seemingly forever. great to resist chips that many others would incur. good brand, good clean color.

Plates started cracking within 3 weeks

Purchased two sets on Jan 6, 2024. As of Jan 27, 2024 we are already seeing cracks in the dinner plates. It’s a shame because I love Corelle and get so many compliments on our last set of plates. Submitted a warranty request but I am guessing I will see even more cracks in the future if they are already starting. These may be too thin to withstand the dishwasher.

Great value for a great product that is conscious

I love that Corelle brand has owned up their wrongfully doing of using lead paint and other toxic materials in their paints for MANY years. They strongly advise that customers no longer use their painted dishes from ERA prior to 90s due to the poisonous materials used. However, their all white dishes test safe (and cleanest!). Ive made the switch in my household to better my familys health!

Not Like They Used to Be

I grew up with Corelle dinnerware. I also got a set 34 years ago and still use it today. Never a broken piece! This set was a store pick-up. Although no plates were broken, they feel considerably thinner than years past. Also, some plates have patchy glaze with porous bare spots. Corelle, you can do better!

Best dishes ever!

I’ve had the winter white Corelle for so many years I can’t count. They are perfect for every occasion and I have collected nearly every item. I love you can put your bowls in the fridge and lay a plate or saucer on top as a cover and stack them up. Great in the microwave. My whole collection fits in one cabinet! My daughter and granddaughter will have to fight over these when I’m dead some day.

Beautiful dishes!

These dishes are wonderful! I've been mixing them with other beautiful, blue-themed dishes from Corelle and these dinner plates are my husband's favorite. We like how they are a little deeper than the other plates and the design is pretty. I like how they aren't all the same design. I've been stuck on the Shadow Iris dishes for decades but these and the Botanical Stripes have taken over! I love them!

Best Dishes

These are the best dishes! If you don't have these dishes, you NEED to get some. They are very durable and easy to clean, stack and store. Leftovers are SUPER easy to keep because cling wrap seals perfectly to them, just wrap and put in the fridge. When you are ready to eat, just throw it in the microwave. Done eating? Throw it in the dishwasher. I've even put a plate of food in a warm (not hot) oven to keep warm until hubby got home. Durable!

Good dishes at a good price to use in our basement

This is my favorite pattern of Correlle dishes. I bought these for our new basement apartment we had built in our house that has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom %26 laundry. We are using it currently as a family room %26 have parties down there. Eventually we hope to have a grandchild stay with %26 go to college or a friend.
