Works great. So I bought another one.

Rock steady. Easy to open and close. Feels super safe. Looks exactly as pictured. Very helpful, gets me up to high kitchen cabinets with ease. I often stand on the top step for extra height just cuz it feels quite safe so maybe don’t do what I do.

Based on the reviews, I thought that I’d found the perfect folding step stool. This unfortunately isn’t true in real life. I find this stool difficult to open and flimsy. Will use for now but would not buy again.

[Rewarded Review] Everyone Needs One !

Very handy step ladder. Light weight and does not take much space to store it. I am only 5'0" so I have to have one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Product is as advertised and received in a timely manner. Just pull down on top step to open and pull T-grip on top step and fold to close. The slim design when folded makes it nice to hang on wall or tuck against wall. Not heavy or bulky.....would recommend.

Arthritis is bad news!

Wow! I can reach now! Stable, high enough, steady, folds up nicely, lightweight, safe. My son placed my glassware on a high shelf. I can now reach it safely in spite of the arthritis in both my arms!

[Rewarded Review] The perfect step stool

The stepstool replaces an older wooden one that was rather unstable. This new one is light, durable, and the perfect size. It is stable on our hardwood floors and allows us to reach the top cabinets with ease. Definitely a big help around the house and much safer than others that we looked at!

perfect for a WWE cage match but thats it

someone who weighs 206 lbs is capable of standing on this. but this is not extremely sturdy in general. tested weight with very skinny child. if you're just generally uncoordinated don't get this. it doesn't add much height and has no room at all for potentially sitting down or eating on if it came upon. it also holds alot of dust and particles and would need to be wipped down constantly.

I wanted it for my grandsons (4 and 1 years old) to get up on my high bed. The Mayfair step stool is lighter, handle is lower and the top step is not high enough. My old stepstool 's handle is higher and heavier (less apt to fall over by children). I like them both. The one year old will be like his older brother soon enough. I can use the smaller step stool for other uses as well. Thank you for a great product.

VERY compact, yet sturdy! This is just what I needed for the storage closet in my office. We use the top shelves that reach the ceiling but most cannot reach up there. I like that it can be tucked away, even behind the door of the closet. I must say that I expected this to be heavy duty plastic, but in actuality, both the frame and steps are heavy duty metal!

Excellent Step-Stool

I purchased this step-stool to keep in the bathroom so our toddler grandson could wash his hands and brush his teeth at the bathroom sink. It unfolds quickly, is very sturdy with nice wide and deep steps, and is easy to fold up and store when not in use. It doesn't have any safety features for a toddler, but I am always there with him so that is not a concern for me. It's strong enough for me to stand on if I need to retrieve something from up high. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

DoItBest does it again!

I wanted a sturdy folding step stool, and this one fits the bill. I have been a customer of DoItBest products for probably 25 years now, and if I can get it from my local DoItBest hardware store (or order it from them)....then that is what I do. I have had nothing but excellent customer service from my local Grieve (DoItBest) hardware store. The step stool is super sturdy (holds up to 200#) and the lock releases/step stool folds up with just one hand on the lock release.

I needed a lift

I need to clean my heater vents on my ceiling and I looked everywhere for a step stool ladder that was inexpensive and tall enough to get the job done. I'm 6ft 6" and a little over 200lbs and the weight limit is just that. It holds my weight and it gives me that lift I need to get the job done. It seems sturdy, durable and well made. It folds up easily for storage and it's not heavy to carry around. Highly recommend.

Nice step stool

It's perfect for small spaces and it's light weight. I like the fact that it locks also once it's opened. The treads feel like they hold you well and aren't slippery, I feel safe on it. The only thing is I wish it had a better weight capacity as a family member used it and he felt like he was going to break it but, he is also 280 pounds! It was strong enough to hold him. LOL. Perfect size, sturdy, extra deep steps

This light-weight, yet sturdy, step stool is just as described on the website. I like how easily it unfolds and refolds and that it is able to be stored in a thin spot, between my cabinet and the wall, out of the way but within easy reach. I also love the extra deep steps as I have small feet (woman's size 6 shoe) and my foot fits perfectly on each step so I don't feel like my ankles are unsteady. The handle is a great height to grab, for stability, as you get up and down.

A bit heavy for me

I’m disabled and found it too heavy to carry easily. It’s similar weight to a folding chair or a little heavier. My mom has a step stool that is a couple pounds lighter and that little bit makes a big difference for me in how painful or not it is for me to cart around. I returned this one.

Convenient steps, ok price; not for tall people.

Nice, sturdy step up for the price, but hardly roomy enough to use as a stool. good thing i didn't want it for that :-) However, i'd add that although they said it was rated for use by a 250 pound person, they didn't give a height for maximum stability. i wouldn't be comfortable trusting any more than about 175 pounds on the top step , as it isn't comprised of robust materials. Not a reliable steady support for tall or large people

[Rewarded Review] Very good grip to floor. Good safety grip on steps

The best features are safety! The rear feet are quite wide and grab even a laminate floor firmly. The front are circular feet and have a minimal contact point which are more for stool balance than gripping.

[Rewarded Review] Very Nice Stool

This is a nice sturdy stool that is constructed with steel. It has two wide steps that make it safe and comfortable to stand on and it folds up for storage when not in use. It also locks in the open position for added safety. As luck would have it the day the ladder arrived I had a smoke detector that went on the blink in one of the bedrooms. I used this ladder to replace it and at 5’ 6” tall had no problems reaching it on an 8’ ceiling. My granddaughter also uses it to help herself to things in the kitchen cabinets. A very handy and well made stool.
