After erecting scaffolding to hang this chandelier on our 22' high ceiling in our foyer, I ran into two critical issues: . . 1. The nipple supplied with the mounting bracket was not long enough to extend past the drywall of the ceiling which made it not possible to hang it with the supplied hook that is supposed to screw on to it. So I had to dig out the previous bracket from the old chandelier and put that back up but since the hook has a unique diameter, I couldn't screw it on this other nipple. I even first went to Home Depot and Lowes to look for longer replacement nippsles, but none were of the correct diameter needed since this appears to be unique to this chandelier. . . Once I hacked together a solution there, the chandelier itself now hangs crooked b/c one of the 3 ropes/wires that supports the outer chandelier rings is too long. So now I have to figure out a hack to shorten that string in order to level it out. . . All in all, an incredibly frustrating experience that took hours longer than it should have. P.S. this is not my first lighting installation.
