Amazing Large Sink with Offset Drain

One of only 8 sinks that would fit my counters and couldn't be happier with it. The offset side drain is great design, and the in-sink grill looks and works great as well. Definitely a buy.

This sink is perfect. I joked with my husband that I wanted a sink large enough to wash a dog or a baby- but seriously this sink could do it. We installed it ourselves and couldn’t be happier.

Perfect sink for me

If I could go back and pick out another sink for my kitchen remodel? This would still be my choice. The single large sink is so much easier to use than a divided sink. And this sink drains well, is easy to clean, and the rack in the bottom is perfect. I haven't tried any other brand with the same configuration, but this one suits me perfectly.

Bang !

This sink makes a sound like a gunshot when emptying a pot of boiling pasta water.

Large volume, good quality

There is much to like. Huge capacity to handle just about anything in the kitchen. Water drains well, but you will need to hose chunks of food toward the drain. The bottom grate is essential to preventing scratches (note: this is not commercial grade so expect scratches if you do not use the grate). Small protective rubber bumpers on the grate do not clamp very well to the grate, and can be easily lost in the sink and drain (Note to Mfr: this needs improvement).

Side drains are SO useful, go for it!

I like everything about this sink. It is an under-mount, it is spacious and deep so I can put pots in it, it has a very slight slope and grooves so it drains well and best of all it has the drain on the far right side. I think all sinks should have the drain to one side or the other! I gives you so much room - OH, and the rack in the bottom is wonderful because it takes away any worry about scratches. It even comes with a soap dispenser to match. I searched for a long time for a stainless steel side drain sink with these amenities and this is the best deal ever.

First one I ordered within 2 weeks had stains all down the middle from coffee that would not come out. When called to return under warranty and exchange for a new one, the representative was rude and insinuated that I had done something to the sink to cause the discoloration thus voiding the warranty. Having had numerous stainless steel sinks over the years, I only clean with what the company recommends and like I really wanted my brand new counters disturbed by replacing a sink. After insistingnumerous times while being grilled, that I had not used anything not recommended for cleaning was sent a new sink. Unfortunately, it seems that it isnt the same size as the one I had originally. The countertop people came to switch it and it is not as wide as the previous one which with a brand new countertop was difficult to set in. Not enough lip underneath so edge very close to the edge of the countertop. Personally, I would never again purchase anything substantial from Elkay or Wayfair as the insult from the customer relations dept totally turned me off.

The best kitchen sink

I have used and specified several of these sinks. The offset drain is brilliant! It allows better use of space in the cabinet under the sink and the slight increase in slope of the sink bottom helps drainage. It’s amazing how many sinks don’t drain efficiently and leave water or food particles stranded in the sink. This one drains well. The extra depth of this sink is also very useful.

Upgrade from Divided Sink - Wouldn't Go Back!

I love this sink! Huge upgrade from my divided sink. I can soak large pans and plenty of room to continue with daily sink use at the same time. The only issue is that food chunks don't easily move to the drain, you have to really direct them down to the drain with the faucet.

[Rewarded Review] Elkay Sink, Offset Drain

I like to spec' these offset drain sinks for client's when they want to have room for pull out storage in their sink bases. This is a nice simple sink with clean lines that fits bill for a good price. The corner radius is just right to keep the modern look but is still easy to clean. Take note if you need a disposal drain flange rather than the supplied basket drain and flange.

I love having a single big deep sink. It makes washing dishes much easier. My main complaint is that it doesn't drain very well. Also, my hard water stains it quite easily and I'm not used to scrubbing and wiping my sink down after each use.

LOVE this sink! its deep, huge, and looks amazing. only 4 stars bc I've only used for a week, and no rust, but very spotty. However, probably one of favorite parts of kitchen reno. the drain on the right side is a great deisgn feature, and love that it included the grid.

[Rewarded Review] Great size

Love the size of the sink and what it can hold. Offset drain makes it somewhat more difficult to keep bottom clean of food scraps, therefore 4 stars. Good sound deadening. Rack is great, but round wall feet can easily fall off when moving rack to clean beneath (food scraps).

Looks great new, should be better for the price

Installed upon recommendation from our kitchen contractor. The pitch to the drain is not sloped well and food just travels around the sink and not easily to the drain. The stopper does not allow food to drop to the disposal and we are always pushing our food bits down with our hand. And worst, it's now staining and blotching after less than four months of usage. The cleaning directions suggest vinegar and baking soda and it's only partially effective. The instructions suggest drying your sink when done. Who does that? We expected better and unfortunately our contractor won't check out our concerns.

I love the look of this sink, however it does scratch easily and rust spots appeared after 2 days of use. I use bar keepers friend weekly to remove any water spots. I haven’t seen any more rust spots since using bar keepers friend. Water does pool right outside the drain, but this doesn’t bother me as I just move the water into the drain when cleaning. If I were to buy again, I’d go with the 16 gauge vs the 18 gauge.

[Rewarded Review] Can a sink make doing dishes fun?

We have done several kitchen renovations and always used farm sinks. We did not replace the cabinets this time and were reluctant to try retrofitting the existing cabinet. The “free, under-mount options provided by the granite fabricator were not our style and even the single bowl was small. We love this sink. Our friends who have replaced countertops and went with the free option all wish they had a sink like our. Do yourself a favor and get this sink. You will be glad you did.

[Rewarded Review] Great size, drain position, very good noise insulation

We switched from a split sink to this one and it's avast improvement. Having a single large basin is great for larger pans and simply allows you to use the sink space much more efficiently. The offset drain also has great advantage - you can tick your garbage disposal toward the side and back of the cabinet leaving plenty of space for storing things near the front where they are easy to access. Single drain also means less pipes under your sink and again much improved storage. Noise insulation is very good.

This sink has a contemporary square look, with close radius corners but not 'zero radius'. It's a 60/40 sink, with both basins being the same depth. It came with the full kit: strainers (with bucket catchers), grilles and a microfiber care cloth - even some 'bar-keepers' friend'. The sides of the sink are generously treated with a sound-deadening layer so there's no 'booming' if the sink gets a knock. The stainless steel finish is excellent - finely brushed and not to shiny, which matches all our appliances. Ours is a 'shaker' style kitchen, and the angularity of the sink matches the look of the cabinets. With a robust, brushed SS faucet, this sink is the centerpiece of our long kitchen island... and the whole think is superb!

[Rewarded Review] Exceptional product at a reasonable price

After hours on the internet and hours in various showrooms I determined this was the sink I want for my new house. I was very happy to see it offered by Lowe's at a price lower than any of the other three suppliers. Just love the straight sides and offset drain which leaves a lot more useable space under the sink.

This is a great sink and has been performing well. The offset drain is great for opening up the space in the under-sink cabinet and opening up a large flat portion of the sink where a center drain used to be, which can be handy for washing flat pans and flexible items (e.g. Silpats).
