Reviews
This under mount sink is will made and looks great in out new kitchen. It is a little deeper than most…but we love that. Could be a challenge for shorter buyers when washing dishes. Highly recommend.
The Elkay Crosstown undercount sink is high quality and attractive. The 33-inch size is spacious but not so large as to look out of proportion to my 38-inch sink base cabinet and surrounding cabinets. I selected the heavier 16-gauge stainless steel version and am very pleased with its sound dampening. It’s only been in use for about one month but I don’t foresee any issues. My only surprise was that the drain included as part of the kit doesn’t accommodate a disposal. That information should have been more prominently stated. Fortunately, I had saved the old drain which the plumber was able to reuse. The cost to reposition the pipes for the offset drain was anticipated and well worth it. The offset design allows dirty pots and dishes to remain in the sink without blocking the drain. Plus, the disposal is now situated towards the back of the cabinet, freeing up more storage space under the sink.
Rust/Scratches
I read many reviews on undermount stainless steel sinks before purchasing this Elkay based on recommendations from our plumber and a friend who works for Ferguson plumbing. As I’m sure you’ve read about so many other of these sinks, three rust spots after less than one month of use and scratches after less than a day. Still scratching even with the grate in the bottom. Unbelievable that none of us ever had any of these issues with sinks from the 90s/early 2000s and before. Shame on all of these manufacturers for cheapening their materials, and this will be absolutely ridiculous to fix when it gets bad enough that we need to.

I love the updated look of this sink. I had the older style curved stainless sink before remodeling our kitchen. After shopping around for sinks made of granite and other makes of stainless sinks, the Elkay was the one. Yes, the food particles do not wash down the drain in the flat sink as easily as the curved one, so it takes a little extra effort. The grid is solid and worth the extra $$. I would buy it again.
Love the depth the rack is useless
I have always wanted a single sink as I cook a lot. Purchased this for my kitchen remodel and the SS rack that protects the sink from scratches is really useless. It does protect the sink although the little rubber protectors around the edges come off, and without knowing until I turned on my disposal, they went down the drain and almost ruined my new disposal. There must be a better way to have these attached. I you do take it out the sink scratches really easy which is a bummer for what it costs. Rethink how you will do dishes, and make sure they are all rinsed before filling the sink to a reasonable depth to wash them. The rack is about 1" high off the bottom of the sink, so you do need to use more water or risk scratching the sink. The rack needs to be cleaned and is not easy. The drain hardware that comes with it is also useless if you have a disposal. If you are lucky enough to have a prep sink with a disposal (like I did in my last home) then I guess this sink works for you.
Great, but one issue
The sink is sturdy and beautiful, with perfect corners that aren't hard to clean, but the insert is a problem. The rubber stoppers that are designed to keep the guide in place and to prevent it from scraping the sides when you lift it, are very loose and flimsy falling off constantly. I'm hoping to find out if I can be sent replacements because I've already lost one. Otherwise a wonderful sink, worth every penny.

High quality sink and easy to clean. Really was not that difficult to install. Tough construction and fantastic craftsmanship overall. No problems with leaks, dents or stains so far. Great size and bowl volume in my opinion. Very sleek looking and at an affordable price. Should hold up to years of use. Easy to seal. Tough design.
Good quality
This is a great quality sink and looks great! One thing I didn’t realize is that it’s not very deep. So it’s a good width from side to side and it’s tall enough but it doesn’t go very deep. So there is a lot more counter space between the sink and window than there was with our other sink and I just wish it was deeper. That might be exactly what someone needs but I could have gone bigger and focused more on measuring width to make sure it would fit. It also seems like it always looks dirty and it’s hard to keep it looking clean. But that’s stainless steel I think! As far as quality sinks this one seems great overall though and I think it will last a long time.

Great sink. Easy to install and very quiet. I wanted to replace an existing sink and the hole size in our counter was not common, 15” x 30”. I searched for almost 2 months before I found this Elkay model and it fit perfectly! Our under sink cabinet was also 35” which is smaller than the required size for a 30” sink but it still fit. I used the existing universal clamps from my old sink. I did manage to scratch it pretty quickly but the finish hides any scratches well. You have to really look and know they are there to notice them.

I expect a sink to drain. That's not an unreasonable expectation, is it? The word "sink," after all, means to fall or drop to a lower level, to below. With a kitchen sink, "below" would mean a drain or a garbage disposal. Right? Well, this sink doesn't sink. It doesn't drain. Water hangs about at the bottom of it, along with food scraps that end up sticking to the surface of the sink. (Beware of using the scrubby side of your dish sponge when you clean. It scratched the surface of my sink, impeding the movement of water and food even more so.) I'm using more water than ever trying to coax the water in the bottom of the sink over to and down the drain to the garbage disposal. I've become a sink-water wrangler. And, yes, the sink is installed correctly, perfectly level. This Elkay is another of too many cases of an engineer designing a product that the engineer apparently doesn't use, because if the engineer did use this product, the engineer would know that the product has a major flaw. It would have been nice if the designer of this particular sink had given consideration to the function of a sink rather than just its appearance. Oh, it's nice looking--after you've physically wrangled the loitering water and food out of the bottom and down the drain where it should have sauntered off by itself.

Great sink. I got this on sale and was the best purchase of my entire kitchen Reno. Forget about double sinks. You need one large on. with a drain placement off to the side so when you are doing dishes the plates do not cover the drain, preventing the water from draining out. AMAZING product. Make sure you listen to the instructions and clean weekly for it to always look like new.

This sink has a contemporary square look, with close radius corners but not 'zero radius'. It's a 60/40 sink, with both basins being the same depth. It came with the full kit: strainers (with bucket catchers), grilles and a microfiber care cloth - even some 'bar-keepers' friend'. The sides of the sink are generously treated with a sound-deadening layer so there's no 'booming' if the sink gets a knock. The stainless steel finish is excellent - finely brushed and not to shiny, which matches all our appliances. Ours is a 'shaker' style kitchen, and the angularity of the sink matches the look of the cabinets. With a robust, brushed SS faucet, this sink is the centerpiece of our long kitchen island... and the whole think is superb!

Great sink! It drains well when installed level, and the sound dampening panels work very well, even when using a high power sprayer. The tight radius corners look good, but are still easy to clean, unlike squared corners. The offset drain has been great. It's easier to rinse particles down the drain, because we don't end up "chasing" them around a centered drain with the sprayer--just sweep the opposite side of the sink a couple of times, and any particles run to the drain on their own. It also frees up a lot of cabinet space underneath, and doesn't divide that space down the center, unlike a center-mounted drain. Update after 6 months: We still love it. We've never seen a rust spot in this. Minor scratches, as to be expected in a metal sink without using an ugly metal grid. It's still very easy to keep clean. Added pictures--the one taken from above shows it at 6 months of use. Edit: the picture of the sink without the faucets visible was taken after 2 years of use. Still no complaints whatsoever. We have left metal pots in the sink overnight and have never seen any stains or signs of rust.
