This light would be beautiful in the right space but it ended up not working for me. A longer sconce was needed for my high ceilings.

Love the look, hated the install

I love the appearance, but hated the installation. I purchased this light years ago in the 12" size and had it professionally installed. I liked the look so I purchased 4 more in 18" for a hallway. Having seen both, the 18" size will be appropriate for most uses, the 12" light is small with little visual impact. I looked at many lights and like the ivory shade, glass diffuser, and touches of black. It is elegant but isn't too heavy looking. Three bulbs provides a good amount of light and I will add a dimmer. I have other LED lights, which I like but the acrylic covers most have don't look as nice as I would like. The install is infuriating and I have personally installed dozens of lights myself. My husband and I nearly gave up and called an electrician. You have to try to push the canopy up blindly and hope the two holes line up with two screws that stick out 1" past the ceiling bracket. The insulation inside the canopy blocks your view of the screws so it's trial and error a hundred times with your arms above your head. We attached skewers to the screw to help us find the screw through the holes. This method worked but still took many tries because the screws wobble and move so you might get one in and not the other. Attaching the bottom ring and glass diffuser also requires two people and will make changing bulbs difficult. Lots of breaks and cursing was required! We got 2 up and I'm contemplating an electrician for the last two. We also tried installing the 24" light but will send it back because we couldn't install it and emailing the manufacturer didn't help. I looked for videos to help with install but found none. I looked for something less expensive, but generally found smaller lights, acrylic diffusers, or too much metal that gave tye lights a heavy or more industrial appearance. I used Feitt LED bulbs 12.5W, 1100 Lumens Bright White.

Perfect laundry room light

Simple perfection. Using in our laundry room. We needed a flush mount, but wanted some style. The brushed metal was an awesome match with our door handles.. highly recommend

Installing the fixture a bit of a problem

I have another fixture to install but have purchased longer screws to cure the problem but cannot find a person with small fingers. But I will work that out. Nice lamp it matches the rest of our lamps in the house Installing is a chore. The threaded screws are two short making installation difficult at best. You also need very small fingers to fasten the three screws to secure the glass lens to the fixture. It can be done but as I said with difficulty.

Beautiful looking fixture - but as an accent only

Doesn’t throw off much light but works great as both an accent light and fancy focal point in my room. Has some Dimming capability but to a lesser degree. Very difficult to squeeze my hand inside fixture to install bulbs - even for my small hands, and diffuser has teenie tiny screws. But once installed, looks great!

Beautiful, but NOT White

I love the overall look of this light, but let's be clear the shade is NOT white. It is a soft cream. I wanted pure white, as it is described and as it looks in the photos. My room has lots of pure white trim and I wanted the shade to match. It does not.

Semi flush light

Very nice light fixture. Two problems, the drum is very white and when shipped there’s no protection On it to prevent dirty hands when installing. 2 the screws that are included with the fixture are not long enough to attached the drum to the cap. I still would recommend if you like the design but just be aware you may need to adjust the screws and where gloves not to dirty the drum shade.

Love the fixture, but it took hours to put together and once we got it ready to hang, the holes did not line up. Sent it back. Wish it would have worked.

glamourous flush mount

I chose this because it was different than all the other flush mounts that I looked at. I think it would fit several styles of homes and look great.
