Auf die Plastikteile könnte ich Getrost verzichten, da ich das am Liebsten in die Spülmaschine werfe. Eine Seite macht sowas Ähnliches wie Hobeln - gäbig.

Excellent grater, does everything including zesting. Very sharp and easy to use and easy to clean.
Very happy with this grater. It replaced my microplane. Wasn't sure if it would stand up to my expectations as the microplane was great but it ended up exceeding my expectations. It is easier to work with than the microplane and less plastic parts means it will last a lot longer.

Very nice seems like excellent quality, the zester is excellent......water seeps into the ginger grater/lid so you have to take care when washing it. Very expensive.....Will tell you in 30 yrs if it's good value!

I love this Cuisipro 6 sided grater! I once owned a wonderful Williams Sonoma 6-sided grater that was similar. Williams Sonoma no longer sells a 6 sided grater, so I bought this one. I can honestly say, this one is way better. The top handle is very easy to grip and seems slip-resistant. The bottom comes with a removable "cap" that is also slip-resistant. It's perfect for holding the grated product in place until the job's done. Although they are not specifically calling this a micro-plane grater, it is very similar to a micro-plane style. Seems much sharper than the Williams Sonoma one I had. Oh, and the bottom "cap" has a built in ginger grater... so it really serves 7 functions. I love it.
