This was so easy to install. I got it to go with my plumbed coffee machine. The coffee tastes a lot better, and no scale buildup in the machine to damage it. The filter lasts about a year. Good price, great value, I'm glad I got it. Delivery was fast from Zoro and they had the best price too! Very pleased.

this was easy to install, 1/4 inch lines simply push into place. Filter itself is a quarter turn to swap out and should last for a year. Much better than an in line filter since you never have to touch the water lines again.

Clean Water

This unit installed very easy. The only one thing could be better is a water shout off on the unit so when you have to replace the filter you don't have to shout off main line.

My new fridge didn't come with a filter, and I thought since it was new, for best icemaker life, and cleaner ice, I should add a filter. I was pleasantly surprised to see Wal Mart had this item for a good price, so I ordered it. Installation was easy. I installed it on the wall behind the fridge. For a correct installation you need to add a TEE on the outlet side of your line coming from the filter, and a valve where you can purge the filter of charcoal and other filter particulates when you change the filter, or when installing the system new. The TEE and valve also lets you bleed off the pressure when changing the filter cartridge. It was a breeze to install the extra fitting and valve, but those parts are NOT included with the filter kit. The instructions that come with the kit show how to install the TEE and valve on the line. I purged the filter until clear, (it was a bit cloudy for about 3 gallons of purge) and dumped the first days ice that was made. Our ice is clean, and tastes better than it did before. I am impressed with my purchase, and would recommend to others. I like that there are several levels of filtration cartridges available. I am going to go with level 3 when time to replace just to see if there is a difference. Certainly can't hurt to over filter the water. Item came packaged properly for safe transit and with standard shipping I was given a tracking number. Item came 3 days before originally promised when ordering.

Easy to hook up, just plug/push in the water line tub. Run the water thru the system to clean out the old water. Refrigerator has a filter in the bottom that cost about $45, I replace each year. After removing it and just have this one on the out side the water tast like spring water. I thought it would not be as good as the one that cost $45, but it is better. I think I will buy back up ones before the price goes up.

I had a different filter over the past three years that I had to replace the whole unit on twice as after changing the filter according to instructions the unit made a loud vibrating noise and wouldn't deliver any water. I replaced it with this unit and so far it is working well. Won't know if it is better until a couple of years and a couple of filter changes pass. However, the filter lasts twice as long as the other filter.
