Do not purchase, fails to stay primed
Do not buy, this is an absoluate waste of time and money. I was attempting a hose style installation with the 48" hose extended to a gallon jug under the sink. I can watch the soap rise as I prime it, then fall back through the hose when no longer pumping, it does not stay primed. I purchsed this unit replace a different brand unit that lasted me 20 years, but finally corroded in the dispenser pipe. Unfortunately, I will have to return it for a refund and look for a different brand.
After 1st one failed, called Danco, immediately received replacement. It too did not work at all.
Doesn't work . Replaced twice
Horrible
Can't straighten extension hose and it curls up and doesn't stay submerged in the gallon of d8sh soap. I tried soaking it in hot water per the instructions and it just curls back up after it cool. I don't recommend this product.
Just installed
Just installed. Only one on the shelf. The installation diagram requires updating. The nut that goes under the sink does not tighten and only clicks over when slightly tightened. I should have read the reviews first. The primmer worked. I will keep the packaging to return - given the other reviews perhaps my 3 is too much - time will tell.
Provided hose is too thin
The overall feel of this soap dispenser is nice. I tried the provided hose kit with some hand soap and, even using the water priming trick and sucking up the soap through the hose, could not get it to work. I had some extra 1/2" outer diameter/ 3/8" inner diameter clear vinyl hose from a previous dispenser install (which primes perfectly) so I used a heat gun to soften the end and get it around the soap dispenser plastic inlet. Once that was done, the dispenser is able to get the soap up no prob
Unnecessary Flange Prevented Installation
Package says "Universal".
On my 2nd unit, my last.
I got this as a replacement - it lasted a year then the pump stopped working. Had to get another one after I tried to clean the check valve and that failed. The 2nd one lasted almost another year then the neck of the filler bottle snapped off unexpectedly making a mess under the sink.
Bought 2 - Neither worked
I bought two of these. Neither worked for more than a few minutes.
Lacks a check valve
I bought this dispenser thinking that it would be nice to be able to draw the dish soap from a Costco size bottle instead of having to constantly refill the little 12oz bottle. Unfortunately, the product lacks a check valve to keep the liquid in the tubing. As a result, each time I had to pump the liquid up from the bottle meaning I would be pumping 10+ times before I got any dish soap. After doing some research online, I found that the simple solution was to add a $3 check valve from the pet store. This will keep the dish soap in the tubing allowing the dispenser to function properly. Now I love the idea of not running out of dish soap for months. On a side note, this product is chrome and not brushed nickel.

Negative 5 stars! Everything is bad
I got a defective one. Got a new one but defective again. Home Depot made up some excuses to avoid taking responsibilities by telling me to call the manufacturer. Called manufacturer and emailed so many Tim need but all ignored. No reply AT ALL. now my one year warranty has expired. Good strategy to rip off.

Love!!!!! Don’t know how I live without it before. This is a game changer and allow me to keep extra bottles off the sink. Also, great to not have to pick up bottle after touching meat and then have to go back and clean the bottle. The modern design is a plus on keeping things simple and safe.

Installation was annoying due to the tubing being so stiff. It worked for a few months but then stopped. It no longer pumped the soap. I took it apart to check for damage and it looked okay. The o-rings didn’t create a proper seal and thus the pumping action stopped.

Finish is nice, easy to install and like the long tube to draw soap from container. However, does not pump soap out all of the time even though the tube is completely full of soap, need to press down several times to get soap, sometimes very little and other times a lot. No consistency. Wife is not happy.
Great dispenser
I bought this a month ago for my daughter-in-law and she loves it. She wanted this one because of the hose feature. As long as you prime it properly following the instructions that come with it and use a thicker dish soap it works great. She uses Dawn Ultra.

The product works decently. However, after having to remove the dispenser, we discovered it can't pump thick soaps. Either the included tubes are too small or the pump does not create enough suction. After watering down the soap, the dispenser worked.

I installed one of these about 10 years ago with the long 4 foot hose and it worked great. A year ago we decided to up grade to one of the more expensive brushed nickel. These did not work well so I returned them an got another Danco for 1/3 the price. You cannot use the 4 foot hose with a real thick soap. I use the Antibacterial Hand Soap from Home Depot. This road is better when dealing with raw poultry which may have germs. The problem with the other two name brands it that although the looked like the pumps were more expensive, they didn't pump as well. One came with an extension hose, but it would loose it's prime and needed to be primed again (a lot of pumping). Anyway this just works!
