Large Planter

This Bloem planter is made in the USA from 100% recycled material and marine waste. It is 27” long x 11.75”wide x 9.5” deep. It weighs 1.44 lbs so it is lighter and easier to move even with plants in it. There are no open drainage holes, which is convenient if you want to use it inside your home. There are, however, 18 marked “X”s on the bottom that can be drilled out for drainage if being used outside. There are 5 feet on the bottom that keep the planter elevated 1/2” off the floor or ground and help reduce mold and mildew and also help with drainage. This planter is very durable and fade and weather resistant. It’s what I would call a hunter green color and has a matte finish. It holds 28 qts of potting soil if you are going to plant directly in it. Three 1 gal nursery pots also fit side by side in it, so you can change out your plants from season to season without replanting if you choose. I like this large rectangular planter a lot because it is a simple design, it’s durable, it’s made of recycled plastic and made in the USA !

Very good basic rectangular planter

This resin planter is precisely as described in size and color. The large size is good enough for almost all types of herbs to grow on. For this planter, I will be growing cilantro, one bought plant, and the rest by seeds. The coral color is my favorite because it matches better the house color and my backyard pavers. I did modify this rectangular planter box to make it a self watering planter. There are a ton of DIY online instructions on how to make a self watering planter. The drained holes at the bottom come sealed, but they are very easy to pop out with a pointy tool, like a screw driver. Overall, I am satisfied with this large rectangular planter box. It is very lovely and definitely I will purchase more for other types of herbs.

Good Size and Color

This was the perfect size for the plants I wanted to transplant. It was so easy to punch out the holes for drainage, but I do wish it came with a tray to catch the water. I loved the color and the price was right, too.

Arrived damaged.

Love that it's made from recycled plastic. Sad that 3 of the 4 corners are bent on both of the planters I bought. Not sure what they were thinking just tossing them in a giant box... Need to have some kind of cardboard protectors around the edges particularly the corners. If not for that these would look so nice! Any chance of a partial refund? I'd be ok with paying half the price so the materials don't go to waste.

good size and sturdy

I've had other planters that bow outward in the center but these have the curved lip providing extra strength. Beautiful blue color

Box planters (I ordered 2) came relatively quickly, free shipping a pleasant bonus. I have planted spinach in them and have a nice number of sprouts so far. I did punch holes in the bottoms to let excess water escape; some of the holes were easy to punch and some were difficult. I believe these are a very good size for my spinach plants and I'm hoping for a nice little crop! BTW, Home Depot had the best price by far on this planter.
