I just purchased a 8×4 a/c cealing cover , easy to install all good but if you want to adjust it to medium or closed positions, it won't hold the settings, the air push the vents to an open position, in another words you can't use the adjustment, it'll stay in open position

Works well to replace the 20+ year old ones that had yellowed over time. Home Depot was the only store to have these. If you have this brand, you will likely need to replace with the same brand because the outside dimensions are larger than the typical metal type (e.g. the metal type will leave some unfinished area of the ceiling exposed).
